Shallow Saltwater Fishing With Lures

- Here I am at Honeymoon Island in Dunedin, Florida. I am using lures and wading out into the shallow bay. I did manage to catch a couple of fish although it was a little on the slow side. Thanks and enjoy the video!
This is exactly where you will want to flycast for snook in the late spring/summer. Just walk the beach northward in the morning with polarized glasses.😎

@@robbiesflytyingchannel You’re very welcome! I grew up right there in Dunedin on Curlew Creek and spent many a day surfing and fishing out at honeymoon Island as a kid. I now live over in Saint Augustine, for the last 27 years, but I was able to get back over there in spring of 2017, and I caught my personal best snook, 40 inches, and it was on fly, to boot!😄

@@tomk76 I was just in that nice deep spot at honeymoon island and I caught about a 20" sea trout. Also caught a couple of lady fish on a clouser minnow.
