Cool video and I've got an eye on those Tshirts.. One thing fishermen do when they get together is tell stories, here's a wader story I was going to fish over night with a nephew over at moriches inlet near the jetty. The place is not for waders its deep and rough water, but I had them on letting the wave run up to my ankles.. At 2am the blues where running they were hitting the lure the instant it touched the water, I always cast and retrieve fast I was using a hopkins lure which is heavy and needs to be retrieved fast, it was a dark night and not seeing it a wave went over my head and hit me hard it felt like it was carrying a log so I had to put effort into staying on my feet as the water rushed back to sea.. The thing is that if I would of fallen no one would of seen me and the waders would of rapidly filled. Moral of the story be smarter than me. I like to fish deep water over there 5 steps and its over your head I'm sure you know the area, I'm inland now and not happy about it

Thanks so much, I used to wade fish not far from Turkey point nuclear power plant. It now has a thriving population of salt water crocks.
i love how youll fish from the shore and add diversity to the channel even though you have a kayak and boat! Fisherman like me who dont have either really appreciate the different ways to catch fish!

Rich thanks so much for your videos. Been learning tons from you. Think we are a similar age. Moved from San Diego to Vero beach last year, grew up fishing CA and Mexico. and just got a kayak recently to explore this new area. Let me know if you’re ever fishing the Vero beach area and want someone to go out with. I go offshore whenever weather allows but mostly am out on the indian river, either here in Vero or down south near fort Pierce inlet.

Replacement arrived!By the way, I did forget to mention that the original lure did have a decent strike however as most anglers will attest you can get a hit ruclips.net/user/postUgkxCbNOWAGmn6nfbCbJDmasvBq7J38KZNw2 and fish will hang on and release lure. I used the replacement lure yesterday and ran thru a Shimano Waxwing, Kastmaster, Bobber (set to sink). I found the does run deep (I casting on the flats 3.5'). Make sure you adjust your rate of retrieve and rod tip angle (up) to prevent getting snagged on bottom. Used it a couple of times and action was very lifelike (looked like local bait fish for trevally), craftsmanship very good....however eyeball fell out. I asked for replacement and it is on it's way! It was very easy to change out treble to single inline hook.
