Halon fire extinguishers still available from specialty, (no dust). Some pro tips in there, like using dremmel to label several hydraulic hoses for take off, and crows foot over 1 1/2" and wilde punches (I will try to find) and will get the milwaukee drill bits tomorrow. Tap and die, Iron clad, lead shot dead blow. Not sure if you mentioned Ax and Torch sawzall blades (carbide). This was helpful to me as I scale up and want to service my own equipment. Thank you!
How is all the heavy equipment mounted on top of the service bed?? Like the welder? They are like 600 lbs. That service bed is probably less than 1/8 " sheet metal... I've always wondered seeing welders and air compressors mounted like that.. do you guys use some sort of reinforcement plates?
That truck had 2 rails made out of angle iron that ran the length of the bed. The air compressor, air tank, and welder bolted to. It was a summit service body which is heavier and wider compartments than a utility box.
Nice rig. The only thing i see that you need is a lot of work lights mounted to the bed, i have 5 per side and 4 to the back makes it a lot nicer when out before day break.
Hey man, just letting you know that having this video labeled "this is for kids" is what turns off your commenting. I have a ton of questions regarding your mazdaspeed 6 but I can't ask because the comments are off😅
I actually had to special order the orings for spool valves because it seems like the kits never have the right orings. I use the CNH oring kits or Trauch Dynamics sells a face seal oring kit that I use 90% of the time.
@@tyraymer886 sounds like heaven to me....keep your neighbors happy...i don't know what the laws are where you live but in my old neighborhood i could not keep my service truck in the driveway because it was over 5 tons....all it takes is one complaint...yep they gave me the boot.....California go figure

Nice setup!
I’d love a service truck like that unfortunately we don’t have them in the UK.
@@galehess6676 you're right, there could be a good business supplying bespoke service trucks in the UK.

What does Cat pay their field service Technician?
I didn’t work for CAT but I did have an offer starting out at 23k a year. Cummins offered 60k. Railroad paid +90k. It all depends on who you work for.

$23k your better being a low life on welfare. LET'S GO BRANDON 😷 😷 😷 😷
What o ring kit is that you have that you said you use for spool valves and such?

Nice setup....where are you guys located out of?
Thank you. Nebraska, Kansas, and Iowa.

Ty Well laid out truck. Are you independent or a company service tech?
I was a for a company but now I’m going independent.
Nice truck
Thank you
No mud board
Great truck and layout. The video is let down by the Audio though, I couldn't hear your voice sometimes from the background/road noise
engraving hoses... that's genius.... I'm out here with colored zipties...

Don't really think its a bright idea showing alll your wears on your truck
Anyone sees that thing knows there's plenty of goodies in it I'd say

What you would think it's empty?
I guess all I can do is make sure everything is locked up and pay for tool insurance.
