“Harbor Freight pneumatic vacuum… it sucks”. 😊 Thanks for taking the time for a very detailed tour. I always appreciate seeing how others approach their work. You’re obviously a thoughtful craftsman.
That baby bottle tip for DEF quanity test is awesome! Ive had to use a small red bull can in the past. Warrenty was not impressed. Thanks for all the part numbers!
As someone that works for cat an wanting to go in a truck this was very helpful. I came from sunbelt driving. I have a lot of tools but steel need a lot of cat tools .
I welded two 15/16 together for adjusting LIFT CHAINS. I've been a cat forklift tech for 30 years. I am also a shuttlewagon tech ( half ass anyway) Just got into a new F550 outfitted with a palfinger set up.
@@slowaf_12v Dont under sell yourself, i mean you don't have to be, to pronounce words, just high school level maybe. But you do you 😄. But good tool tour though.
I’m American and have never heard anyone pronounce those words like that. I cringed every time he said “tor-ex”😊. No disrespect though, I enjoyed the video.
@@slowaf_12v okay. I’m finishing up 10 years in the Airforce as a Aircraft engine mechanic and hopping into the heavy equipment world and should start at CAT shortly. Really wanted to do field tech but they told me I’d have to be in the shop for awhile
Great tour of the service truck Mike!
Thanks for watching!

How long did you work in a “shop” before you were allowed to work field tech?
7 years road experience before I started working for Cat Dealer

Most dealers are 5 years+ in the shop
@@slowaf_12v appreciate the info! Can’t wait to start. I bet your glad to swap over from that F550

Those Pittsburgh service wrenches are now $60
Inflation...ouch!
Wtf is prahauto and torex! It’s Proto and torx
And what have you
Welp, I lasted exactly 130 seconds. Not sure if “prato” and “torex” are supposed to be jokes, but ✌🏻
Sorry if my pronunciation of torx and proto offended you ✌️
