    Aww man I'm glad that you continued on with the project. Pretty disheartened when you found out that the stringer were rotten and thought that it wasn't worth it to continue.
    Glad that you changed your mind and kept the project.

    So many comparable materials to use instead of extremely expensive coosa. I couldn't believe the price of coosa when I first researched it.

    • @LindellAdventures
      @LindellAdventures  2 года назад

      It’s crazy! It’s a good, reliable material that will last forever though 👍

    While you're making major modifications, I'd suggest making your wife happy and expand the interior so she will have more creature comforts (IE: a nicer bathroom).

      That is the plan but not too much, since that will take up fishing gear storage haha

    Never cut Coosa board without a mask...ever.
    You shouldn't have to force the board in, it should slip right in. Leave a decent gap around the perimeter ( 1/4 -1/2" ish ) as you'll come back later with thickened epoxy and create a fillet that will fill the gap and allow the glass that you'll lay to turn those corners without bridging and air pockets. Keep plugging away and bit by bit it'll come together. Good luck!

    I am sure the Coosa was a big expense. Maybe you can use some of the leftovers for the stern stringers.
