  • Court Injunction against the Department of Integration should be sought as housing unvetted, untraceable, illegal (as no passports) asylum seekers mostly single males with different values is a danger to Clonmel. Under the new EU migrant pact they should be held in detention camps not in communities. Clonmel has a law and order crisis presently with widespread crimes and anti-social behaviour. There is a lack of confidence in the Gardai and criminal justice system. The Gardaí nationally are increasingly concerned about an upsurge in vigilantism and violent attacks on immigrants that have been filmed and then posted on social media in recent weeks. In the past month alone videos of 11 separate attacks that have gone viral and been viewed almost three million times.
The government should house the Irish that are homeless and sort out the lack of resources in the town and the lack of law and order enforcement.
