    Ok, this is how imagined space travel was going to work, but except it just feels like our ships are not moving at all.

      this is how space travel feels in real life... In Starfield you at least feel it much more than IRL

      @@nz605 imagine trveling form a planet to planet for 5 mins every time..... that gets old preety quick..... most people would just fast travel anyways..... and this is not a sim, this focuses on having storlines, rpg mechanics and quests, what DOES get old pretty quick are sims....get that in ya head

      ​@@trissmerigold7722it doesn't get old in gta where you drive for 20 minutes around the map. You can fast travel by taking a taxi. Fast travel should be an option as would be StarFlight like travel.

    Only this missing is to fly into the planet and then trigger you map menu where you pick a landing spot. Would be much more immersive and seamless instead of constantly shuffling through menus.

    Looks great. The planets seem super small though. The spaceship was as big as the red dot on jupiter, when in reality that is as big as the earth itself.

      I think that this perception has to do with the combination of crazy high speeds and the fact that the planet has very low texture resolution. We don't really know if the planets are 1:1 dimensions to the real deal, but they seem like they are indeed.

      They're not small, we just move so fast our perspective shifts. The same thing happens in Elite when you go into supercruise. Planets seem small going past them.

    How do you make the ship stay in the center of the camera? It keeps going and going, that's why I have to use it in first person.

    Have you worked out how to deal with floating point drift? (outside of hacky solutions like save/reloading) Am thinking we're going to have to wait for CK to release for than and putting in some sort of interactive planetary collision/boundary meshes.

    Awesome! I mean I would not recommend to use mods like this if you don't know what you are doing, but you Sir, proved the principle that modders can overcome the lausy limits the devs set for the players like having to go through menus to travel between planets of the same system. Truly awesome! With more mods this game will be insane.

      As I stated previously, this is how I hoped space exploration would have worked. Is that realistic? I don't care. Is this more fun? Absolutely, yes. This would have lend itself for more random events instead of just spawning outside of the planet's orbit and feel like your ship is not moving.

    Good evening, the mod (latest version) absolutely does not work, I tested several manipulations, with the scan, with or without a planet, it is impossible to succeed in making gbfm appear "(ff01... etc. So basically, I I just have the god mod and the poor 599 speed..
