Thank you for helping me diagnose my drill issues! It won't start unless I manually spin the chuck first while I'm squeezing the trigger. It's loud and VERY sparky, as well, so I think I have this very issue. Thanks again!
Happy to help. I would also advice you buy an extra set of the carbon brushes so you are not caught off guard. Mine got worn out after 5 years so it depends on how often you use the drill
Hi check the drill model number . This should be on the box you bought it in or on the side of your drill. That number should guide you on what specific carbon brush to buy. Go ahead and search that on amazon , aliexpress or the brand dealer
As long as you can put it back together I see no problem with that. These machines need maintenance like re greasing and you might also discover other problems like worn out chuck or an armature that needs replacing
Thanks for the beautiful demonstration. your innovative method of wodden pieces is awesome.
You're welcome
Thanks. I love your previous solution of padding the brush out with little bits of wood.
Thanks for your comment
Thanks a lot. Before testing I would close everything up, just to be safe. Have a good day!
Yes sure. Safety first. Thanks

@EVANSNGURE Will do, thank you! The shipping costs to Canada are nuts (at least $30 for a $10 part), but it beats buying a whole new tool
That's crazy ... I bought mine from Aliexpress. Maybe you can compare rates. All the best
@EVANSNGURE Will do, thanks for the tip!
Thank you very much it was usefull
Am glad. Thanks for watching

You're most welcome
My machine just like you said. On off on off stopping starting. Is it always the carbon brush problem. Or is it armature coil ?
Might also be the armature coil. You have to troubleshoot first . Check the carbon brush first , if its worn.
Many thanks
You are welcome
Thank you bro
Any time
The problem with the machine is opening it as if repairing the whole of it.
