  • In Day 17 of our 30 Days of Breath Support, we learn about the messa di voce, and the role the breath plays in this true registrational training device. Messa di voce is not just about crescendo-decrescendo, but is about a coordination of support and registration. Be sure to catch up on days 1-16 if you haven’t done so, so you fully understand all the concepts!
To sing well, you need to breathe well. Most people- beginners and professional singers- agree on this point. However, how to do it? That is the question…
Follow along in our 30 day series on Breath Support to take your breathing and support to the next level!
We invite you to join our Lucca Bel Canto Institute this summer: September 9-16, 2023. For more information, please visit www.luccabelcanto.com This program is for classical singers.

Now this is actually very easy to understand when listening to you, but it’s going to be very difficult to replicate by myself. By ourselves. You have to be very careful when you let the stomach come back out at the end. Very interesting challenge. Very good challenge. Thank you.
