Pure speculation, but Mannarino has to be the highest-ranked player in the open era not to have a major apparel sponsorship! He said in some interview he would rather wear comfortable shoes and shirts than to be stuck with some new model he dislikes imposed by a sponsor, so he buys several pairs of his favorite shoes before the start of each season. If he keeps going up the rankings, you would think Nike, Lacoste, etc. would put together a team to make him happy, but for now he's the world's best tennis-playing hobo. 😅
that's because while most players string racquets within the 45-60lb range, he strings his at around 20lb, so no backswing required, the man can practically strum his strings like a guitar in between games
Gonna be fun to see how ol' lefty does vs young lefty Shelton. Rootin for Adrian -- always gotta root for the old guard! Next gen will have its time, but just not quiteee yet
I see Mannarino's guilty-pleasure fan club is here in full force! Someone already said the attraction is that he doesn't play like any one else, so it's a relief of sorts to watch him. I sensed Munar was about to lose when he stopped grunting.
The way Mannarino plays breaks all stereotypes of what one needs to succeed at the highest levels. Low tension, short backswing, ball placement, speed, etc. That said, we need to remember that it's all relative - the guy would absolutely hit all but the top 0.1% of tennis players off the court with his power. The guy can rip a short ball as well as anyone, and he does when necessary. He'll also crack returns to keep the server honest.
Idk. I think he hits some winners. What surprises me is that he is able to hit these shots with such a small back swing with the way the ball pops off his racket.
When I was younger, Miroslav Mecir played the game Mannarino players today. They are junk-ballers who use angles, spins and dead balls to never give their opponent a rhythm…it’s effective, but it looks easier than it is…
Best Mannaruno plays. At the age of 35, in peak form, fantastic.
true
i mean he won 5 set with bum
And we can be sure of one thing, he'll always be going "uhheeyyy" on every shot! 😂
I will admit I secretly hope he reaches the final at the AO. An absolute class act of a player.
He’ll beat Shelton
@@michaelpham6379Nice.
@@michaelpham6379are you ok since the match bro ?
@@InstrumentalStudio I told you! See I’m right 💪 I’ve got good tennis knowledge
@@michaelpham6379 lmaoooo you just edited your comment, well done 🤣

Mannarino is playing best tennis of he's life at age 35...
a top 20 player without a sponsor! Nuts.
The power mannarino gets on that tiny backswing is insane

I thought it was closer to 13 lbs and it’s in a pure aero
Let’s admit that we all love the little agony scream mannarino does everytime he strokes the ball 🤣
Mannarino is my guilty pleasure. I want him make a Calendar Slam...

And HE HAS TAKEN DOWN THE 21 YEAR OLD IN A 4:30 MARATHON. I’ve discovered my guilty pleasure.
"oh bien ouej" à 2:49 😂
Mdrrrrr
Mannarino is so default. When you play an mmo and in character creation the default skin appears, that's him.
Adrian is my favorite player to watch .
Go Zinedine Go!
the chanting was hilarious during this match
Munar's grunt is super annoying

Adrian "The Mannarino" Mannarino

Ça fait plaisir
Mannarino wins matches the way Ulysses Grant won campaigns: unflagging effort and sheer determination
Not to mention he's still VERY fast, has an all court game, great feel and an excellent wide slice serve on the Ad side.
When you can't help but play 5 sets
Top!
Mannarino has big eggs
why do so many like Mannarino play style??? he has no winners, just placement
Idk. I think he hits some winners. What surprises me is that he is able to hit these shots with such a small back swing with the way the ball pops off his racket.
@@victorhumphrey131 Very low tension of strings = huge bouncing off the racquet (hard to control though, he's a real sniper)
Because he's unique. You like all those big hitters ? Good for you, they all are.
Bro, just win points that is the objective of the game, Federer is not a big server but would you question his placement?

ugly but effective
