It's finally here! The Batwoman Omnibus by J. H. Williams III, W. Hayden Blackman, Greg Rucka, Trevor McCarthy, Amy Reeder and others!
This is a spoiler-free overview where I take a look at the build of the book, and show off some internal artwork. In fact I pretty much know nothing of the story in this book, since I've not read it yet and like to go in blind where possible :P

This is definitely a gorgeous book if nothing else, well worth a pickup for the eye candy alone! ... Apart from the cover... of course :P

Great to see a Comic Bound video and not just a guest appearance on someone else's channel! 😂 I'm in the minority of people who love this cover, I would have chosen it over any of the other options you showed (if I was into omnibuses at all that is!)

I know right?! And I have seen so many gorgeous covers from this run, which baffles me as to why this collection ended up with that cover! It's almost a literal kick in the teeth!

I miss that voice. Great to have you back on the tube. Another great review. I'd considered picking this up. Id like to get all the new 52 stuff really but there's so many coming out which seems a short space of time. Maybe il catch a good deal somewhere down the line. I do love that art, the prominent red throughout is impressive.

I’m still baffled that they choose that cover but I’m at least happy the book came out I was sure it was going to get canceled
During the first Batwoman ongoing series JH Williams only did the artwork on every other story arc. Amy Reeder was supposed to be the artist for the second arc but left after about 3 issues due to creative differences. Trevor McCarthy took over after that and came back for the 4th arc.

Sorry Adam, Ive not been that well. I collapsed in the kitchen and had my first seizure a few weeks back and another on the way to hospital. I believe it was down to a stressful time + aniexty, stress. Admittedly I haven't been sleeping too well lately either.😞
I cannot be sure its that though, so going for tests to hopefully determine what the problem is. You don't need to worry though, I've been feeling a lot better the last few days. Learnt the way of the warrior ha ha.😇

And even if it was nothing to do with the stress and anxiety, then I hope that things get better there as well. I also struggle with stress, anxiety, and sleep.. it's part of why I've not really been around much recently. So if ever you need someone to talk to about that or just about anything in general, comics, life, whatever! Then please don't be afraid to reach out. I actually didn't pick that one up yet, it was a series I've never really heard much about so didn't take the plunge. Maybe I will at some point though. It looks like an absolute beast!

Googling "Batwoman Rachel Maddow" could have saved you from this bad look.
Totes horribish cover, feels mes eatin' a bit.
Part of me is glad I'm not the only one, but to be able to say that means that a lot of people might not like this cover, which sucks that it's the case!
