Have you tried to make smoothie with fruit and his milk, give him in bottle? Add a little bit of fruit to his milk and slow over days increase the amount of fruit in his milk, until he gets use to fruit. 🌷

Wawa, you are just too adorable! You are blessed to have such an amazing daddy that is so very patient and loving . I think if you mix the milk and fruit into a smoothie and put it in Wawa’s bottle it might get him a little taste to see if he likes it. I’ve seen other monkeys drink watermelon smoothies and they seem to like it. But every baby monkey is different, and I know you always have Wawa’s best interest at heart. You can always rub banana on his bottle nipple. Try to feed it to him before giving him his bottle when he is still a little hungry.

You need to hold sweet wawa with his hands being held and feed him. He has way too much freedom and alot of distractions.
Have you tried making juice from the fruit? Or mash the fruit and mix into yogurt. He is still so young, I'm sure he will like fruit soon.😊😊😊

At this age it is not necessary for Wawa to be eating fruits…yes it is good for him however if he is not ready then he is not ready. You have to remember, in the wild with his mother he would ONLY be drinking milk bc he is still so little. As he gets older and grows faster his body will start to require more than just milk, then he will become more curious and start to show interest in different foods. For now though it is not going to effect him negatively as long as you are feeding him plenty of milk, he is gaining weight, growing and developing…which he def is bc you are doing all the RIGHT things and providing him with great support.
If you really do want to start introducing him to fruits, you can leave a little plate during the day nearby where he is playing, giving him the opportunity to become curious and maybe try a taste. Also you see in the wild the babies become interested when they see mom eating….they watch mom, smell their mouth and will begin copying n wanting to try bc mom is. Perhaps if you were to eat with him, show him how it’s done he will become more confident.
I def would not force him…every baby is different, he is still so young and has plenty of time which is what he needs and that is OKAY…bc he is healthy and growing wonderfully with just the milk.

Awhile back you gave him some juice/milk bottle and he loved it. I
think it was papaya or mango juice.
Also try eating fruit with him really watching you eat. Not wandering around.

You are right to not want to force him..he has def grown and TRUSTS you….that is sooo important. To force him is not necessary he is still little and milk is really all he needs…
his instinct to suckle is still very strong…you may consider trying a fruit with a lot of juice and holding it for him, see if he will maybe try to suckle the juice from it…this would allow him to get the taste of the fruit without him having to actually chew it. Just a thought…or if you were to squeeze the juice you could either put that in the bottle alone or with some milk and begin introduction it to him that way…as you give him the fruits whole he will associate the smell of the juice to the fruit and may be more likely to try on his own…
