you cannot use these high frequencies in Progressive Scan. You must use GPU (GTX 980Ti and older), an older driver and no HDMI converters in order to use interlace video modes. it's not too hard and it's definitely worth it.
remember to use the WQHD and 4k options to retain fine detail or download the original video file off the link in the description, I'm keen to upload more on this monitor when I re-record in 120fps and upload a second link below this comment once I recieve my camera in the mail.
@DJCopperbottom i got slightly higher in GTF signal timing mode, try it. also check the quality of your horizontal/verticle sync wires in the cable to the monitor, I've given this monitor some tlc and a new VGA. i can get like 200+hz at 480i w/ a dedicated gtx 980 and old driver with interlacing enabled. as far as i know it doesn't work on win11.
Heyyy I suddenly thought of you out of the middle of nowhere. Sorry I disappeared off the place of the earth for so long!!! If you’re still active here, would love to catch up❤❤
I just saved this exact monitor from being scrapped. How were you able to get such high framerates. I can't find too much information about it
you MUST run inlerlaced mode in order to have enough bandwith to break 800x600@110hz
hello! I’m looking into buying CRTs for a gaming set up. did you change the refresh rate up to 160hz? I’m considering buying one of these.

Wow it goes to 160hz???
interlaced mode only and timing tweaking I get it higher than that sometimes

Your CRT looks so absolutely crisp, I just wish RUclips's encoding didn't pixelate the blacks 💕💕
What's the max horizontal freq?
at what resolution? interlaced?
Progressive.. Highest I set on this so far was 640x480 120hz
So you got 800x600 @110hz progressive, I'm assuming max horizontal is around 70khz?
@@xom. yep, sounds right
