This is the best that I've ever heard it.. Considering all of the bootlegs were of cassette quality.. One day the original master tapes will hopefully emerge

A substantially better little record than the band members and management give it credit for, but it was better Unknown Pleasures was their first proper LP. April 1979 is really where it all starts to come together for Joy Division.
