Don't think I have ever watched a video more intensely. I was at the indoor range today. My shots were going every where. I had been shooting fairly good and improving. Then about a month ago the arrows started going all over the target. Today a fellow archer glanced at my bow and said, your arrow vanes are hitting the drop away rest cables. On the drive home I thought what caused that! When I lined up my string to my arrow and sight I realized the rest must have moved towards the riser. I probably knocked it in some way. Then I looked on RUclips to see if I made the right adjustments. That's how I got here. Great video!
Learned something. You don't line up the bow string to the arrow rest and then to the sight pins. You center the rest to the riser. On my bow there's a slight line going up the riser and that is the center. After that you can then line up the sight pins.
I’ve watched this a couple of times as I follow the channel, but today I watched this as I was serving my first ever peep sight into the exact same bow. Everything is holding well, glad you produced this for us DIY archers
I got a Question, how do you stop the peep sight twisting on draw back, you've tided it in straight inline with bow string, but when you draw back how do you know it will aline with eye

Best vid on this process…hands down! thank you!
This was very helpful. I'm wanting to learn how to build (or rebuild) my bow on my own. Keep up the great work
Cool program Corey.
How do you get the peep sight straight in line with your eye, without it twisting left or right?? I tried lining it up with the D-loop.
Great video!!
What knots do you use to keep your rest cord from sliding up or down on your cable?

Do you recommend a specific size of peep sight or is that strictly an issue of preference?
How draw weight do you set your bows?
70 pounds...
