It's a miracle, someone made a video of tying a peep and they did not hide the entire process behind their hand. I agree this is a an exceptional video. When you are showing how to tie the peep, it is nice to see what you are showing. Congrat's.....
Very neat way to tie a peep on the bow string, constrictor knot is really easier than it seems, test making it on something you can slide off (steel rod, pencil etc.) to practice, it's almost impossible to untie when tight. This taught me a new knot, Thanks, God bless all
Thank you i have dealt with peep twisting for a while now. I went to a tube peep. Finally wanted to put the other back on. Fig string settled by now. Used this method except I went opposite ways when doing knots to bring it back after the first knot and it worked.
Top notch video. I am new to archery and I want to start working on my bow. I have a old bow that I plan to practice on until I feel comfortable. Your video puts me well on my way to working on my new bow
Really detailed description, so well explained I thought I was missing something, I just ruined my son's new bow string because I didn't know about this knot then, I'll learn this one for his new bow string, if he'll let me touch it. Thanks, God bless all, James
I have tried this a number of ways. This method is excellent. It is continuous, secure and neat. Good job on the instructions. Thanks for sharing your method.
...Great peep serving video. I have been using another video, but twice I tied the peep in and the serving around the peep would come off. There was no clear knot around the peep itself. I followed your method to the "T" and can't wait to get out to the range and try it out...
25 years of tying in peeps in a pro shop, I now have a new way. Clearly better than the standard method. I wonder what I’ll learn tomorrow? I hope it’s how to get my wife to do dirty stuff!
Thanks for the detailed explanation - I did it according your instruction and I agree to some other comments: I compared a lot of methods shown in several youtube video, but this one is the most elegant in my opinion.
Awesome video sir! I’m new to archery and the tech that helped me choose a bow, installed my peep a little too low. My sight and pins are bottomed out, and I can’t be driving out to the shop since it’s pretty far. I want to be able to do work on my own bow and have been looking for a “how to” video on this knot, since it’s the knot the tech used to tie my peep sight in. Thanks for sharing!
i agree with everyone this video was a great twist on the peep. im about to cut out my one i installed earlier because it twisted my string. how you switched directions will probably fix the twist . thanks
Great Video on this Subject. Best version I‘ve seen. Thanks for Your time for creating this.
Great clear and precise
That's got to be the best video I've ever seen for tying in a peep
Perfect instruction. The little extra is actually the best thing: you explain how to REMOVE the peep when you need to do that! Well done!
Excellent job. The best video I have found on tying in a peep.
This is absolutely the best instructional video on how to do this. Thanks for sharing.
thank you for your instruction. your attention to detail and explanations are very helpful. That "back serving" had me completely confused until now.
Definitely the most elegant way of tying in a peepsight! Great instruction, thanks a lot!
I second that. Best video on tying peep sight and how to tie the constrictor knot. Thank you!
Local pro shop needs to learn this method.i will use these instructions to redo mine. Thank you for the video!
The best way of tying it in I have seen, great video thank you.

With other methods my peep would be perfectly aligned before serving but after it would twist. This method cleared that up. Fast and clean!

Best instructions I've seen on how to tie in a peep sight. Thanks for sharing. I did mine that way and it looks great.
Great video, I was able to tie my peep in on the first try and I am confident it is not going to shift. Thanks!
Thank you sir. You have done a great service to the bow community.
I can't believe this got some thumbs down, absolutely a perfect instructional video, well done sir thank you

Dude, thanks heaps for this one! Been looking everywhere for a peep 'tie-in' with the constrictor knot and this just nailed it!
I watched a lot of videos on this topic, and yours is by far the best. Great job! Now, I just have to try it myself.
Well done on an excellent video. I have used several different ways of tying peeps in, this will become my go to way.
thanks! tied my peep with your instructions.... with dental floss... great temporary fix
Top notch video. I am new to archery and I want to start working on my bow. I have a old bow that I plan to practice on until I feel comfortable. Your video puts me well on my way to working on my new bow
Good idea going from the peep outwards. I normally start from one end and work my way to the other and it does not always work out that well.
Really detailed description, so well explained I thought I was missing something, I just ruined my son's new bow string because I didn't know about this knot then, I'll learn this one for his new bow string, if he'll let me touch it. Thanks, God bless all, James
Very good, well detailed, really worth learning even for an old man like me.
Best damn video and explanation out there! Cleanest install also! GREAT JOB!
I have tried this a number of ways. This method is excellent. It is continuous, secure and neat. Good job on the instructions. Thanks for sharing your method.

Excellent video! I will give this a try next weekend on my new bow. Thank you!
I like this method the best, especially the natural "V" point of reference.
Thank you for making this video! Super helpful and informative

what size serving do you like to use
Damn'd good instruction, my friend. Heading to BassPro to pickup some serving string in 15 minutes! Thanks! Sub'd!
Marked, going to try it soon
Great video thank you.
great video mate, thanks!
What Type of serving thread is that?
How long of a serving string do you use for tying in a peep site with this method?
About 1.5 to 2 feet.
What kind of serving tread do you use?
nice job
Nice vid but when you have to adjust the peep you have a lot of work to do. I would skip on the spiral job.
I know it as a timber hitch.
Best vid
That knot is called a "timber hitch"
Clove hitch numb nuts
Actually, that isn't a clove hitch, but a clove hitch sure would work great.
