Great to finally see this one mate, that hillside was looking lush. I bet there's still more Georgian silver up there somewhere. Thanks for coming along and thanks for your kind words in there. Condition of that George III was stunning, proper nice find that. Take care and speak soon x
Can't believe I found another G3 on that field, and so close to the other big coin I found last time. Thank you so so much for inviting me mate, looking forward to having a catch up at Detectival!
Thanks Lesley, we had a great day together back in May in between all that horrid weather! I was so lucky to find yet another G3 silver on those fields….Gaz is a good sport x
Great video Marcus, well done. Watched Gareth from Dukes video and got onto you from there. Really nice to see 2 mates having fun in the field and some great finds as well. That Georgian silver .. wow. What incredible condition 👍 .. I have to say the soil there looked amazing to dig even if the finds were pretty deep. I battle with flint around these parts 🫣 …. Thanks for sharing your day. Keep up the good work. 🙏👏
Two good mates having fun under the sun! Gareth is a top bloke & always enjoy his company. He’s very generous to let me dig on his fields, and take the silver away 😉 Hope you e had a good week mate!
Wow such a great video that, proper enjoyed watching. Lots of great finds and that silver smoking mount is so interesting Well done with the bullhead silver, such a perfect coin that Marcus 👌🏻
Cheers Jimbo - Gareth's fields definitely provide lots of good opportunities for stunning scenery and great finds! Hope all is well pal, and thanks as always for the support!
Cracking dig Marcus, loads of coins, a lovely bull head silver and that silver pipe decoration not forgeting a massive lead weight, good to see you both out together in the lovely English countryside. ATB Bill and Julie X 👍😊❤ ps shotty caps and moo tubes are the detectorists bread and butter 🤣🤣
Brilliant 😊 looked like some day. Well done on the Silvers. That bullhead is a beaut! Glad to see the vids coming back. Be a hard one for Gareth to catch ya on points! Looking forward to his vid.
Thanks mate! It was a brilliant day & we were so lucky with the weather….this was filmed in early May when every day felt like rain. Hope all is well with you my friend
Great to see you guys back out together. Brilliant video Marcus. That G3 is ridiculous. Stunning views too. What's not to like. Good to have you back. Look forward to Gareth's video too. Well done👌
Great to hear from you Del mate! Hope all is well? Filmed this one back in May, so we were very lucky with the weather. Always enjoy my time with Gareth, the finds are just a bonus. I’m very happy with the G3, and the silver pipe piece is a bit different. Are you at Detectival mate? There’s loads there this year including Gareth!
@@Notchedto11 Hi buddy. Life seems busier than ever but all good. Not detecting as much as reliant on group digs when they fall on my days off but my passion remains strong. Going to Detectival yes. Are you going then? I thought one of you guys couldn't make it this year but I'm probably wrong. Be great to see you if so.
Thanks Philip - I couldn't quite believe it wasn't more modern than that, until I checked it out online. Asbestos and tobacco cocktail! Yikes! Thanks as always my friend
Perfect Friday morning. Tick Great time out with Gareth. That was an amazing G3 6d. Beautiful condition. Good cardio exercise walking around with all that lead in your pouch. Good fun times with a mate. Well done. Take care cobber 🦘🦘😁👍
Morning (evening) Andrew mate! He’s a top bloke is Gareth, and I couldn’t believe I found yet another G3 on that field (that’s 3 for me now). Not long now til Blighty you two! I’ve got a plan or two for when I see you!
@@Notchedto11 Yes, definitely worth it mate! Yeah not bad here thnx Marcus - a new perm + the farmer's about to absol. 'Terraform' a HUGE field - hinting that we might be allowed to do a wee bit of 'Plough-Following!' 🚜🚶♂🚶♀ Excitin' stuff!...
Good to hear from you mate! Hope those winter months down under aren’t too harsh for you! Finally getting some of the sunny stuff here! Thanks as always for watching pal
Brand new subscriber here, just this afternoon. It looks beautiful there. My ex is from Derbyshire ( im in the US). Hes in Matlock. My dad has a metal detector but of course its not working. Hopefully one day i will have my own. Great video and awesome finds 🎉. I would love to visit the uk again some day.
Hi Elizabeth! Thank you so much for stopping by, and for the sub. Glad you enjoyed the video, and hope the content will inspire you to treat yourself to a new detector and get into the hobby! Thanks again, Marcus
Deus 90s are where our silver coins and rings are, so my ears prick up when you call those Really unique pipe silver, I recognized that anchor as soon as I saw it. My 1890s Victorian wedding band I found last year has one. First gold thats fit me. You should be well pleased with with a productive hunt like that. See ya on the next.
Completely missed your comment Keith - sorry mate! Yes, same here with those 90s but they can also be deep lead too so we are less successful for sure! Hope all is well mate - see you on the next one!
Wow that is scary asbestos pipe I never knew they made some from that stuff. Stunning bit of silver mate you’re on a roll. Yes it is my back keeping me away from detecting at the moment. Cant wait to get back out in a month or so I hope. Have fun if your out at the weekend.
Had a feeling it might be that pesky back Andy! Sorry to hear that mate. Keeping everything crossed that you’re swinging again very soon. Thanks as always for the support, never taken for granted mate. Get fit soon my friend
We couldn't stop laughing, perhaps a bad choice of words when you said that you'd "whooped Gareth's bottom considerably over 2 days wild camping" 🤣🤣🤣🤣 In all seriousness though excellent session for you and a lovely Bullhead. All the best Wendy and Jon 🙂🙂
Hahahaha Wendy & Jon - I wondered who would be the first to spot that! I only realised what I had said after I started to edit the video, and thought I just had to keep it in.....too funny & you win the prize for being the 1st to spot the Freudian slip! Thanks for watching & appreciating the humour!
