I have a list of what I missed.. 😂 that is what happens when we make a video without preparing. Most popular answer is the extra fuel tanks. Thanks for watching
I have done 446k km on 3 sets on OME on my bakkies, and currently have Ironman Form Cell Pros. Done 115k km on it and still goes ans the day it been fitted. Great performamce and handeling on tar and gravel.
Thanks for this comment. Our OME has only done around 65k km. Not good at all. Will definitely look at the Foam cell technology now as well. ToughDog or Ironman.. Thanks for watching
Great video! The V6 1GR motor is under-rated and I'm glad to see it in use like this... BP-51 shocks will go well. Currently I've got Ironman Foamcell Pro's and their really good to, but out of past experience the BP's are in a league of their own
Thanks for the info. The V6 is indeed underrated. It is such a smooth engine when cruising on the highway. Shocks is such a big choice. And so many good products on the market
Great video once again. Thank you for sharing your experiences, some of us travel vicariously through you. Please tell you are going to Khwai in August/September next year, headed there as well
Thanks. We are so glad that we can share our experiences and encourage others to do the same. So many wonderful things and places out there. Still have not planned a next year Sept/Oct trip. Want to do Zim in the winter or perhaps sept. Will see how it goes
Hi Martin!!! Absolutely AWESOME 👌 video and like all you're videos it's really great to watch top 👍 quality!!!! Where can I buy 2 patches and stickers from.
Thank you so much for the nice words. We really enjoy bringing this content to everyone to see. Glad you enjoy it. 💪 We are currently on a trip. Will arrange some stickers and patches for you when we get back
@OurLifeInAfrica Oh that's great news 😀 Martin, another video in the making I hope!!! That would be greatly appreciated 👏 Martin thank you so much!!!! My wife and I did Baviaanskloof last year November then Gamkaskloof "Die Hel" February and went to the Kgalagadi in June and then we're going to the Kruger Park end of October 😃 Safe travels Martin looking forward to the next video!!! 👍 👌
I also got V6, standard, just put long range tank and same exaust Would love to know how you travel with kid :) Got a month old girl and we wanna hit the road soon
Hi. We also have an additional tank. Helps a lot when touring. And the exhaust makes a massive difference. The only advice I can give is to make sure she is happy. We always have extra water on a warm day so we can give her a “jacuzzi” in a tub in the middle of nowhere. It is always exciting for them to play with water. One month is still very young, at that age we made sure not to drive too far everyday. It will ease the stress on yourself as well. Just advice, definitely do not have a set in stone answer. It will vary per person and per day(as we have found out)
Hey Martin, Thank you for sharing. We also have the Old Man Emu suspension with a constant 600kg load rating. Works well. When it is time to replace, I am considering the Terrain Tamer... Out of interest sake- How many kilometers did the shocks last? I see you upgraded to 35" tyres. Did this affect your fuel consumption much? Is it easier to tow the caravan with the bigger tyres? Your 240Ah DIY LiFePo4 battery - NICE :-)
Hi. The shocks only have around 65k km on it when we took this video. 😮 We are seriously considering upgrading to toughdog, but terraintamer is also still a choice. There are actually quite a few good ones on the market now. We will upgrade the complete suspension and not only the shocks. The tires made a massive difference. Fuel consumption is about the same. Pulling away we can feel the power is less, but when on the open road, it is much smoother. Towing the companion is also much nicer and at cruising speed it is way more comfortable. It could be the softer compound tires. Should have done it a long time ago. Thanks again for watching.
We are currently busy on a long trip again. Will do a comparison when we are back. Today with a strong headwind and towing the companion we got just over 6km/l
saw you guys on saturday in Palapye going up north... Enjoy Botswana!

Great vehicle walk around👍 I don’t think you have missed a thing 😬

Dankie vir die deel. Ry selfde Cruiser as jy. EK hou van die basiese setup en alles is maklik om by uit te kom.
Dit maak lewe net maklik as mens plek het om dinge te sit, en soos jy se, orals kan uitkom
Great Video I Could Defenitly recommend Tough Dog Suspension
Ek moet sê hulle is baas🤣😎
Ek wil ook amper so dink

Is the car a petrol or diesel?
It is a 4L V6 petrol
What size tires are you running and whats the suspension lift?
It is Maxxis RAZR 315/75R16 with a standard 50mm lift
Do you have an auxiliary fuel tank under the car or you just rely on jerry cans for extra fuel? Great video👍
Thanks. Forgot to show the auxiliary tank. We have a 75litre aux tank underneath. So we carry 205litres on the vehicle.
