Ukrainian Factory: two years of war for a Mykolaiv key worker

- The film offers a poignant glimpse into the life of Vitalii Velychurov, a key worker in the main bread factory of Mykolaiv, once a frontline city. Russian troops destroyed Mykolaiv's major infrastructure and most of the city's residents have left - including Vitalii's wife and children - but the factory has delivered bread to the besieged population every day since the full scale invasion broke out. Lost in memories of the past and an uncertain future, Vitalii finds solace in the continued rhythm of the factory.

This needs about a few million more views. Masterful cinematography bringing much needed attention to a people and a country under a horrific and unjust aggression from russia.
What an amazing story. I was mesmerized by this man finding joy and moments of peace with his birds. Thank you for sharing this story with us. Slava Ukraini
It got missed in translation but the medals he hid in the garden were his son's for judo championship. The first thing he thought when in danger was saving something valuable to his child...
The happiness people feel when they get a freshly baked loaf of bread is the same feeling people felt thousands of years ago.
Tough people
My country… no none can imagine the scope of this massive tragedy …
Of course, the driver delivering bread was shaking after the Russians stopped him. In my country, innocent people who walking around with no weapons were just shot on-site by the tank crew during the Soviet invasion.
My grandfather was working in a bakery in post-war Poland. These Ukrainian civilians are heros holding cold blood and doing their jobs that will supply food to the others.
This is my city!
This is a beautiful city where I’ve spend 23 years of my young life. In 2006 I moved to Chicago. Stay strong, my lovely city Mykolaiv .
I only wanted to scroll a video quickly, as I don't like this kind of "boring" format. Ended up watching entire video from the beginning to the end.
Thanks you for this amazing story!
Thank you for sharing stories like this. It's so important to show the perspective of civilians in times of war.
My heart goes out to Vitalii and his family.
Melancholic story. Beautifully edited. Slava Ukraini.

This man brings more benefits to Ukraine than all Western elites combined.
right, bread wins wars not weapons pepega
@@umage7759 It's not a matter of 'bread versus weapons' but rather a balance between addressing basic human needs and safeguarding against threats to security. The second part of the scale is unbalanced.
That is not true. This man does not produce weapons.
❤❤❤
Depressive documentary, unfortunately this is day to day life of almost every Ukrainian after 24.02.2022
@Mercado Media Have you seen this?
How much is the 100 roubles in usd
Ukrainian language ban,and how crazy world we lives...😢
These people live and work like it’s the 1800’s. That is a lil shocking to me.
I'm afraid bread production isn't that different in your country
That's a Hero who sends his wife outside to find a way to get away ? Hmmmmmm ? Bless the wife !
Why you Interview a Bandera ???
How about Donetsk documentary?
You mean how ruSSia destroyed eastern Ukraine?
how exactly do you expect a western media get access to an occupied territory where there is no freedom of press or speech?
ask Igor Grikin
Guardian loves imperialism.

Can you elaborate on this? What makes you say that?
I thought it was quite self explanatory.
