We just released our new film about the infamous POW camp for Ukrainian POWs and the human rights violations going on there. Watch it here: ruclips.net/video/U_rWDBS9TTo/видео.html
Excellent Episode. This is very powerful information to see and hear. On Tuesday, we begin our journey into Ukraine to volunteer in Kryvyi Rih. I hope to learn to speak the language and cook your foods while helping any way we can. Slava Ukraini.
Wonderful pictures of Kyiv. I was in August and September in Kyiv but never saw any destroyed buildings all the time. As a tourist it looks of course different.
I was in Kyiv May/June 2022 and July 2023, and likewise, did not see any destruction until my taxi took me north-east to Irpin and Bucha. Repairs made quickly no doubt. Kyiv is large city and spread out.
@@johnglover3682 Ok, this make sense. I was not in the suburbs beside the palace of Yanukovic. But Irpin and Butcha was destroyed by ground troups and not by drones and Kalibr. Thats why I never was scared in Kyiv despite the air raid alerts. Life is always a risk. In my last visit to LA I suddely found myself suddenly midst in a shooting.
Thank you to KI for this short but excellent report. I have been many times in Kyiv. I love the city and all Ukraine. I became tears when I saw the ordinary people in front of the wall of St. Michael Monastery and the solders who comemorate to her fallen friends on Majdan. Since late 2013 we helped Ukraine. We stand with you ❤🇺🇦🇪🇺🇺🇦❤️.
After Ukraine's victory, all these atrocities we learn about now, will be retained throughout history around the world. People will for sure want to come and visit such a resilient nation as Ukraine is. It will be quiet without the sirens, and people and nature will be able to show us around your beautiful country. Who says so? The passing of time. That is how it was for many of us after WW2. And I know that Ukraine deserves, more than any of our ally nations, to have what we all had in 1945, yet Ukraine had it so differently. This is why Boris John stated, "this time there will not be another Yalta". Everyone in the UK government understands this now. It's why we are staying with Ukraine now and beyond her victory. Lest we forget.
I appreciate this video. I got a lot of insight from it and I feel like I know a little more about Kiev and Ukraine. I know that it will continue to stand Ukrainian strong.
Thank you for watching. As we wrote, this video was inspired by the question "How is life in Kyiv?" that we heard from our friends and colleagues abroad. So, we wanted to show what our life looks like now. Of course, this is only relevant to Kyiv and some other cities. The daily life of people living closer to the frontline is entirely different.
@@kyivindependent We see a lot of frontline footage here which is why this video stands out but there should be a lot more videos like this and more attention to the Ukrainian people. I want to continue to see a peaceful and prosperous Ukraine, maybe get a chance to visit, spend a lot of money there and sit in one of the cafes and devour the cakes and cappuccinos and take in the beautiful atmosphere. It's becoming more of a determination than a dream these days.
I'll be back in Kyiv in January 2024 for the first time since February 24, 2022. I will be so pleased to see my favorite Kyiv again even during these difficult times.
Last winter was all about generators. My mother owns a small hair salon. With a help of a generator (as big as carry-on laggage) her business survived. This generator was just enough for 1-2 hair dryer to work but was much appreciated😊
This was beautifully done. I have followed the war since the full scale invasion. I watch a lot of videos about Ukraine. This gave me the best snapshot view of life in your beautiful city. Thank you. Of course, I always cry.
Daria, thank you for showing us just a micro snippet of what life is like in beautiful Kyiv under the daily threat of fascism... I hope to visit Ukraine once Victory is achieved 🇺🇦 ❤ I'll definitely invite you for a coffee or dinner 😊 You are all in our prayers 🙏 ❤️

Really wish life gets back to normal in Ukraine. After watching TV shows, I've always felt a strong connection to Ukrainian culture, and Ukraine has become my dream travel destination. I seriously hope that everything returns to normal soon, allowing people to return to their homes. It’s heartbreaking.
I cried so much while watching this video and hearing the sirens. I am from Serbia. I was 13 years old when my country was bombed. Everything was the same.
Thank you for your video. I subscribed! And fully support for Ukraine! Just one thing - as people in the media - please promote some old and new Ukrainian heroes. (Not Bandera - this gives Russia just more free arguments - he was indeed horrible)

Did you support Iraq when your country invaded in 2003? Or did you know anything about Ukraine before the war began? Is it a country is it a city? Cause if you didnt your comment about support for Ukraine is very hypocritical. Do you speak Arabic and Kurdish?(the languages of Iraq)
