    Corrections:
26:20 - the Theravada Tripitaka (used in Thailand) is not written in Sanskrit, but in Pali or Magadhi.
Please note that the first Tripitaka to be compiled and written down was the Pali Tripitaka, used by Theravada Buddhists. It was orally passed down, until it was written in Sri Lanka, on cured palm leaves, using Sinhala letters. This Tripitaka was acquired by other Theravadin countries and inscribed in their own alphabets.

Great documentary, I'll show it my students. Although, I too, smiled at every mentioning of the Korea's technical and cultural superiority over Japan. What the narration didn't mention speaking of the superiority is that the Tetsugen Tripitaka project was an undertaking fueled by enthusiasm and energy of one person - Tetsugen himself, who mananged to rise funds and find all the necessary material, specialists and base to complete the task. Besides, the Tetsugen Tripitaka was not the first Tripitaka in Japan. There was also one printed with movable type, that preceded the Tetsugen Tripitaka.

26:14 Theravada tipitaka was written in Pali not Sanskrit or Dialect, All over the theravadin buddhist countries use the same pali tipitaka version (only one version), so the pali tipitaka just was translated to other language in modern era
