  • Strathearn Historical Park in Simi Valley California offers visitors a look at Simi Valley history with it’s preservation of historical buildings and artifacts.

    My parents rented the blue house once upon a time. The barbershop was also used as a residence at one point as my grandmother lived there with my dad and his family in the 40’s. Much of the decorative art on display in the pearl was created by my great uncle.

    Thank you, I love your to the point , simple factual videos! Love that they are current. I love old Hollywood , but you show a great “ collection “ of great places in the Valley!

    Howdy Michael, I really enjoy the videos I've seen, and shared this one with a Facebook group called "I LIVED IN SIMI VALLEY CALIFORNIA". Lot's of people enjoyed seeing it, but a few were correcting the pronunciation of The Historical Park - Strathearn I copied & pasted this :::: Strath-earn not stray-hern

    It was weird hearing you say "stray-hearn". I went to school with the great grandson, he Pronounced it Strath-earn

      Yes. That’s how my parents always pronounced it.
