Camera man nailed it! And he helps me with the Walleye Now app as well👍 (you did ok too Tom…). Keep up the great content. My water is still 64 degrees, but fish are still biting😃
I love tom fishing videos. I watch everyone i can. I think tom is one of the best walleye fishermen on the planet. I would love to see how he would approach some of the lakes in my area. Im around pool 17 and a few hours from starved rock. That being said evergreen lake is the closest and is a saugeye fishery and the lake a few miles down the road is walleye. Im not an expert fisherman by any means but even following what tom shows getting on groups of fish here has been close to impossible. Casting all day with one fish if we are lucky. Would love to see how he would approach a place like this. Evergreen use to be an amazing place but from rumors i heard guiding during covid and covid in general took a lot of the fish. I use to pound 20” saugeye now im lucky to get 14” fish Keep up the amazing videos i learn on everyone you release.
Anyone can Crush walleyes or any other species indifferent States or reservoirs!.. I'd like to see you do that in Hayward Wisconsin!.. you know the the town you travel from!..😮
Mitch has done well on the edit for sure. I liked the timing on all things in this one. Fading to camera shots from the graph view was ok, but that would have been one area I’d look to fix if it was my own video. Maybe have it have less black video with no action in the transitions. Glad to see some fish coming through the ice and even a nice kicker at the end by Mitchell. Way to go!
On the Pondie, way to go camera man, Thanks for getting out and getting it done. Ice in central MN, is gone.I might have to go northwest to get into them.
how are you keeping your hyfax from melting to your track clips with no snow to cool/ lube them?? scratchers?? didnt see any on your sled, great vid on LOTW
The camera man can !!! Mitch, you stole Tom's thunder.. 😅 Mitch, just tell Tom that his abnormally small hands make all his fish l👀k bigger than yours. That will make him feel better. Another good video guys. Stay safe.
22:17 hey Tom and cameraman {mitch} I’m in northern mi. No ice at all here anymore lost all we had😂 any way if you guys could when you get the opportunity in 20’and less could you do some landscape mode? That would be great I run mega live because you do and I’m getting pretty good at reading landscape mode but was hoping for some pointers? Anyway love your vid’s and all the hard work you and your team put into this thanks papa D
Tom, when fishing these big tapering flats and “calling” fish in, how long will you “call” for until you don’t mark any fish and move to the next spot? I’m an avid coyote hunter and if I don’t have a coyote called in within 30 mins of being on stand, I’m off to the next spot.
Hey, Tom, great video! New Ski Doo Skandic 600? Can you tell me (clearly shows at 23:16) what that mount is on the steering column that the Ram mount is attached to? Is that some sort of Ram Mount base? Thanks.
Tom, what is the benefit of a dead stick over a bobber? I see everyone switching to dead sticks, but it doesn't make sense to me. Is it just a fad, maybe creators trying to sell an additional rod type, or does it actually have a purpose? It seems like a dead stick has more drawbacks than a bobber (less time to react, fish feeling line tension...).
They are predicting only one day (1/3 of the way through Feb) to go below 14F around the great lakes and the rest of the days hovering around 14-20F and a decent amount of days above freezing, if they are right (which 50/50 odds 😂) it's gonna be one of those snow and slush winters. Couple of spots have mildly decent ice already though, in the mountains (like around Aspen) or up north (North Bay in Ontario), rest of us will have to pay the gas fairy to find a rink lol. Had the perch hot hand this year too and was looking forward to slamming some ice jumbos lol.
I know that first access you guys were at and contemplated the same thing running down that shoreline to get passed the sand and onto some of that gravel/rock structure lol. Slaughtered em out there all fall though and that was the first time I really got confidence in snap jigging plastics. The resort down there said they pretty much lost all their ice now 😢
You know Tom do some educational video's instead of putting your life in jeopardy. I live between Detroit Lakes and Park Rapids and one of the guys in our town went down a few days ago and lost his life! Not worth it Tom!
catch us a fish your the camera man, catch us a fish tonight....cause we're all in the mood for a walleye and you got the right camera light!
That's pretty good haha
Solid workMitch
Way to go mitchel some times things just work
Glad you found some safe Ice👍🏻
Been a struggle this year!
As always, excellent content 👌 😊
Thanks for watching!
Dunn county, Tainter wi has 5 solid inches everywhere we were up to 8 just last week. People were on snowmobiles. Caught a bunch of walleye and gills.
Camera man nailed it! And he helps me with the Walleye Now app as well👍 (you did ok too Tom…). Keep up the great content. My water is still 64 degrees, but fish are still biting😃
Mitchell for the win! Good luck fishing!

Great content TJ
Just love walleye, merry Christmas team Boley 🎉
Go cameraman! Beauty!
Feel for you. We had late ice but we have ice in Saskatchewan😅
On the Pondie, way to go camera man, Thanks for getting out and getting it done. Ice in central MN, is gone.I might have to go northwest to get into them.
Crazy winter for sure. Won't forget this one anytime soon.
how are you keeping your hyfax from melting to your track clips with no snow to cool/ lube them?? scratchers?? didnt see any on your sled, great vid on LOTW
I have scratchers. And I will periodically drill a hole and kick slush into track if I feel it needs it.
I didn't head North but only finding Smalls local Nice Job Guys!
Thanks Matt!
I have one question what size drill do I use on a auger blade with out burning out my drill ?
LFG Mitchell!!!💪
Old camera guy with a clutch fish
I see you are using a different brand of reels? What are they? And why?
Im still fishing pool 4 on the Mississippi...in my boat
what rod were you using with the spoon? and what rod in the line up is best for 1/8-1/4 ounce spoons?
Lucky mang! More time editing and less time eating Mitchell!!!
The camera man can !!! Mitch, you stole Tom's thunder.. 😅 Mitch, just tell Tom that his abnormally small hands make all his fish l👀k bigger than yours. That will make him feel better. Another good video guys. Stay safe.
How about a video on how fish behavior or location might change with these warm conditions and open water freezing agian. Does it matter to the fish?
Been a weird year! The jet stream is way up north so we’re getting all the Gulf air coming right up along the Mississippi River!! All our ice is gone

Pretty much the same timeline works here

Yes.... Same mount you would use for a stowed trolling motor.
It is attached to middle of handle bars
such a nice sled u need an inclosed trailer bud
One day I'll get one
Who can? The camera man can!!
Camera man is always good for a few!
You should have been out on pool 2 with your boat the past 2 weeks!!!
What reels are you using this ice season?
LOVE the content Tom! But for the love of God, buy an enclosed trailer so you don't destroy your gear with the road salt!
Glad to see you finally got on ice!! Was waiting for the “getting the boat out” comment!! Good bit of fishing! Nice job Mitchell, love that lake!!

Merry Christmas 🎄 TOMMY B 🎉
N O ☹️ ICE 🧊 in NW Michigan ……..
Need a boat 🛶 so we will Grouse Hunt in the meantime !!!!!
Mitch hijacks the Thumbnail!
Payback for all the camera man comments... Always a fan of the comradery guys.
Nice
Thanks for watching 👍
Tell warrior you need a boat now ,there's no ice you got to get on the water 😉
Got a plan in play! Should be interesting!
@@TomBoley Go back to Huron, Ohio...still crushing them there!
Lotw🤔?
🎣
Mitchell says he’s been calling me camera man all day lmao! Tom, do you have a fan cooled sled? Just curious.
Ataboy cameraman
Dude, just get the boat back out...all the lakes in MN are open now...LOL...well maybe not all, but many of them...
May have to soon!
Things arent much better here in the INW. One of them years i guess 😢. Lotta winter left

Seriously , I thought I would see Tom in his boat on Pool 4 Mississippi style. 👍
if you are ice fishing you should keep the walleye you catch
Lots of ice in canada(mb) come up and ill hook you up.

Back to square one on that lake
You know Tom do some educational video's instead of putting your life in jeopardy. I live between Detroit Lakes and Park Rapids and one of the guys in our town went down a few days ago and lost his life! Not worth it Tom!
Calm down dude. Tom has nothing to do with the guy in your town and constantly preaches safety on open and hard water.
Pay attention dude people are falling in ans getting stuck on ice everywhere.
All that expensive gear, you fish for a living, and no enclosed trailer or even a tarp?
Ya what an idiot right.
