In this video I've got five simple tips for your first snowboard turns.
love these types of vids! Its really helpful when we can understand your thought process real-time as you perform these tricks. Visualizing, planning and so forth because many people dont realize how much of a role your mentality plays into being able to lock in a trick.
Glad you like it! That was the goal to share the real time thought process!
The most important takeaway is this:
Even competent, experienced riders take time to warm up. Not nailing a trick on the first pass is not a failure! It part of the process.
Embrace incremental improvements.
Safely stack the attempts.
Results will follow
one thing i enjoy a lot is when pro snowboarders post them falling as well as their best tricks so we can get more of a realistic sense of what it takes and not get as discouraged
I think it’d be cool if you taught us the different kind of rail tricks that we can do! Loving the content. Yew!
Is this the season of rail progression? Im impressed with audio work while on the rail! Props to your production team kev!

I find down rails where you have to Ollie higher easier to go slow
Come on, you are just coming fresh of Cardrona, the best terrain park in the world where you trained a lot. So the first rail after how many days, haha?
Just over four weeks ago in NZ doesn’t count. His skills dissolve when he changes resorts.
Kev said the same thing arriving in NZ after a whole summer at Hood and more than six years of back to back winters.
Need a few warm up days after 2 months off.
You gotta get out the the midwest and loop those rails on a tow rope! You can probably each 30+ times in an hour, no problem!
Oh wow! I need to check that out!
@@SnowboardProCamp ruclips.net/video/klNwPBQU-Jc/видео.html Casey Willax shows what's possible with our weak ass hills haha! (I can't do this stuff but thank to your videos I'm slowly improving)
Rails are scary

I hit the two hardest rails in the park and wiped out on one because of the wind it pushed me the opposite way I jumped and made my hit my knees and shins on the rail
