It is a silly little smile maker! I am going to stick a slightly better motor in it so it will get those front wheels up in the air and ride out those wheelies longer!
If you enjoy the Lunch Box or the Wild Willy2 then you will enjoy these too! Same type of fun little smile makers and they bumble and tumble around just like the the WWW2 but not as top heavy. I think that is why it was not riding the wheelies out as well, need a peppier motor since it does not have all the body weight to keep it on the rear wheels.
They are just fun little smile makers and are great ones to run around after a stressful day! Watching it bumble and wheelie around will give you a good 20-30 minute break and put a smile on your face. Cool little car with a faster motor would definitely be better but still it’s one of those cars like the lunch box that always puts a smile on your face
yes, it needs just a little more go to get those front wheels up in the air and hold those wheelies a lot longer. I think the lightweight body makes it harder. The Wild Willy and its heavy body make it super easy to ride them out for a long time!
I may at some point. I ran the Manta Ray on the track right before this and it came back a dusty mess. I only wanted to clean on car up that day so this one stayed clean in the grass! LOL!
It was a really fun one to drive, it needs just a little more motor to get it up on the rear wheels easier and ride out those wheelies a bit longer. Then it would be perfect and a wonderful way to et out and enjoy 20 minutes or so of wheelie action!!

I can't believe tamiya did the comical series its a bold move when you think about! But a success story now! Just fun in a box that gains as you build it and then drive it! My favourite is probably the comical Hotshot but if l had to pick a 2wd then has to be the Hornet right! Great vid Addam have a great weekend buddy 👍

I am glad you liked the music choices, I tried finding something fitting for it! It does have the Austin Powers feel to it LOL! These are really some fun smile makers! Very much like the WW but more adorable! This on could do with a little better motor to get the front wheels up faster and ride out those wheelies. I think the lighter body makes it more difficult to ride them out compared to the WW. Glad you liked the music, I tried finding something fitting for it!
The Cw-01 and GF-01 kits are right there in the same family of fun kits! All the wheelies, the bumbling and tumbling around is just a great fun and smile making goodness! This one does need a little more motor to get those front wheels up quicker and ride out the wheelies longer but that is an easy fix!
You need to find one of the comical races from Japan. They have like 15 or 20 of these on a smaller race track and it is both pure chaos and joy to watch! These fall into the stress reducer category, no real upkeep on them and they just put a smile on your face while you are driving it around. Although with some wider arms and fast motor you could have a blast out there with it on the track running the others as well!
Tamiya did a very great job shrinking these down to both give it the cool look but also hold true to the original kits. I agree that these have a lot more character to them, they are real smile makers! Since this has a light weight body on it is is very stable but needs just a touch more motor to get it up on the rear wheels easier and ride out those wheelies a bit longer. Simple and cheap fix though!
Yeah, it just need a little more to get it up on the rear wheels and ride out those wheelies. It is a fun little smile maker kit, they are great to go out in the yard and bumble around with to cheer up your day!
Yeah these don't need a lot of motor to be a ton of fun to run around! A sport tuned or torque tuned is more than enough to pick up the speed a little more and also pick those front tires up quickly and ride out some wheelies! These are all about tootling around the yard, ripping wheelies and making smiles!
@AddamsPlayground it looks like it does that for sure. I was never really in to these but seeing them now I need one in my collection. I seen a video on the Hornet Evo that looks good think I wil get one and put a BZ engine in it. The guy in Japan said TZ is for road and BZ is for off road.
@@kanenstuff I have mine on pre-order also. I will stick something in it other than the stock silver can. More than likely a sport or torque tuned since I have them on hand already.
@AddamsPlayground I know they will sell out fast here in Malaysia and I'm off to Japan again soon so I will pick one up there and some hop ups and a motor can't edit to get one. Make sure to post some lap times, you need to start some new times now there is no jump 👍🏻
It was funny to watch it do its thing! Since this has a light weight body on it is is very stable but needs just a touch more motor to get it up on the rear wheels easier and ride out those wheelies a bit longer!
It was a fun one but needs a little more power to get those front wheels up in the air easier and really ride out those wheelies. A sport tuned motor should be more than enough to give it that little extra it needs! Still fun the way it is is but I want those long distance wheelies! LOL!
They are in same fun wheelie machine category as the Lunchbox, just a little bit smaller. They tumble a little less and a little better than the Lunchbox as they don't have the heavy body and with the short wheelbase they tend to roll back over more often and keep going. The Lunchies you can drive a little faster with the slightly larger wheelbase but none of them are racers although there are some great races you can find on YT. It is pure chaos and comedy with them on the track! They are instant smile makers just like the Lunch Box is. squeeze the throttle and watch those front wheels dangle!
They are just fun and silly little things that make you smile! I mean who doesn't like wheelies! It has the lighter body on it compared to the Wild Willy so it is very stable but needs a little more motor to really get up o the rear wheels and ride out the wheelies. They are just fun little kits and iconic designs that are some real smile makers! What's not to love?
They are fun, this one just needs a little more go to it so it can get on those rear wheels a bit faster and ride out those wheelies. This one has the lexan shell on it so it does not feel as top heavy as the Willy does. Probably also one of the reasons it does not wheelie as easily as the WW does.
I often complain and question Tammy's decisions. But, the comical series was a good decision. I was impressed the way it seem to absorb the bumps in the yard. As always, the car puts a smile on your face. Good job.
LOL, it is easy to do at times, they tend to march to the beat of their own drum for sure! They did a really good job on these by taking classic kit styling and shrinking it down and making them fun-sized versions of the real kits. They are 110% smile maker kits whether you are just driving it around and watching it do it silly thing or even trying to race them with others> If you have not seen any of the Japan comical series races you need to. They are pure chaos and comedy gold!
@@AddamsPlayground I've watched some of the Tamiya races are they are great. The only thing better is the Dancing Rider videos. My favorite comical race was somewhere in Asia. They raced around a track and when the came to a certain spot they to do a wheelie within certain area. If they didn't make it they had to try again. Guys were laughing hysterically.
They are very similar to the Lunch Box or the Wild Willy, nothing you are going to take racing or try to squeeze any performance out of, just a fun and adorable little smile maker! It is a great cheer-me-up type of kit that you can run around for 20 minutes or so and make your day better. Plus they are built pretty tough so the tumble and bumble around with worrying about them getting broken!
I am glad you enjoyed the music in this one, I tried to pair it with something suitable for it! It doesn't need to be a lot faster, just a little more oomph to get it up on the rear wheels easier so it can ride out the wheelies a little longer. They actually are surprisingly kind of stable for the roll-over look they have but yes, too much faster and it would become fairly tippy!
Yes, I have seen them and it is funny with a lot of them out there. I had just run the Manta Ray on the track right before this and did not want to clean up two of them so it stayed in the yard.
I have seen bits and pieces of some, did not watch all of them. I am constantly behind on videos and watch as many as I can but time to sit down and watch everything is impossible at this point.

Cool as!! 😂
It was funny to watch it do its thing! Since this has a light weight body on it is is very stable but needs just a touch more motor to get it up on the rear wheels easier and ride out those wheelies a bit longer!
@@AddamsPlayground still good fun 😊👌🏼
The wheelie hornet 😁
It was a fun one but needs a little more power to get those front wheels up in the air easier and really ride out those wheelies. A sport tuned motor should be more than enough to give it that little extra it needs! Still fun the way it is is but I want those long distance wheelies! LOL!
I've not yet tried one of these out. How are they compared to say, a lunchie?
They are in same fun wheelie machine category as the Lunchbox, just a little bit smaller. They tumble a little less and a little better than the Lunchbox as they don't have the heavy body and with the short wheelbase they tend to roll back over more often and keep going. The Lunchies you can drive a little faster with the slightly larger wheelbase but none of them are racers although there are some great races you can find on YT. It is pure chaos and comedy with them on the track! They are instant smile makers just like the Lunch Box is. squeeze the throttle and watch those front wheels dangle!
May be getting older I'm getting also stupid... but.... I WANT ONEEEEE!! ciao
Was it running with lipo?
@@NANNIRC no just nimh. I don't have any of the rounded lipo packs to fit the rounded battery opening.
@@AddamsPlayground ok, may be a little one... it could give that punch you need...
Love my Willy, so I imagine these are just as fun. Is it any easier to drive with the weight shell?
Guys were laughing hysterically.
i see these things on sites and im just not sure about them...

I love the comical music this looked fun not funny lol I think if it went any faster it would flip over a lot
They do race them on track.
Yes, I have seen them and it is funny with a lot of them out there. I had just run the Manta Ray on the track right before this and did not want to clean up two of them so it stayed in the yard.
When was the last time you watched one of my videos?
I have seen bits and pieces of some, did not watch all of them. I am constantly behind on videos and watch as many as I can but time to sit down and watch everything is impossible at this point.
