  • After years in storage, Peter recently dug this mothballed project out of the garage and has resumed work on getting a reliable fuel injection system to work on one of his CB1100Fs. He's already resolved one of the issues he encountered years ago - excessive fuel pump current draw, and is now working on fine tuning the system. Considering that he just got back on the project, he's already made good progress. More updates to come as this gets closer to becoming reality.

I always felt the folks who ask why lack any imagination. There are so many questions to ask here and then you get a why? WTF? 😳

I noticed Peter using the choke once the bike was running. What is it connected to?

Hi, would you possibly be able to advise how to replace the fork seals on a 1978 Malaguti Ronchino RC50? it has no oil drain bolt at the bottom and I'm at a loss for how to remove the fork from the stanchion, thanks

I'm not familiar with that bike, so I would have to do a little research or find the shop manual. Feel free to send some pics to my email address, which is tkerxhalli@yahoo.com.

@tomscyclerecycling8242 Thanks for your reply! I've since discovered they are a sealed unit so the whole thing will have to be replaced but I appreciate the offer

@po18guy Don't be a dick. I own 3 80s honda sport bikes and I'm trying to understand what is trying to be accomplished. Is he going for performance benefits? Or just butchering a classic because he's curious if it will work.

Once it's set up and working as intended, it will start faster, won't have the typical cold start issues after sitting for a few weeks, and will probably make a little more power.
