It's a pelham with a figure eight and a shadow roll. Beezie doesn't use hackamores.

@@meganproffitt424 To be fair, if she had one that went best in a hackamore, I'm sure she'd use it. I've never met a rider at this level that was 100% for or against them, it's always what will work. Hackamores are very strong, and whenever you pull on them the horse feels that pressure on the front of his nose. This makes most horses frame up, sometimes too much which can make their balance too low (because they put their heads down). You also loose a ton of steering ability and body control. This means you need to control turns mostly with your legs/body, which at this speed and height is really hard and some horses don't adjust well to.
Personally I have one horse who goes well in one and uses it to jump, and a few that don't. I think that using what works best for a horse is much kinder than just putting everything in a hackamore.

@@christinewaters7977 Sure - if she had a horse that went best in a hackamore, but she doesn't and all of her horses seem to go best in pelhams and kimberwicks.

@@meganproffitt424 Yeah for sure! Don't mean to disagree with you at all, just elaborating I guess. I find it frustrating how whenever I watch GPs on RUclips lately, half the comments are just obsessing over who is and isn't riding in a hackamore. It's just so glamorized when they're really just a different 'action' if you know what I mean. Some horses love them, some hate them.
And I agree Beezie loves a small pelham/kimberwick, but I can think of a couple of her horses who went in a loose ring (Cortes C, Quister, occasionally Coach) a full cheek (Coral reef) and Darry Lou in an eggbutt (?) gag.
