What size is it? LG has a great 2-video set that talks about every aspect of a rebuild/restoration. It's expensive, but I have found it to be very helpful in getting to know the hammer. Roger at LG has been a big help as well. Good luck, I look forward to watching your project!

Good morning! It's a 50 pounder.... I spoke with the folks there yesterday.... This hammer was shipped to a customer in North Dakota on the 3rd of October 1929!
I'll be ordering the dvds this week, along with a good bit of what I need to do the rebuild!
      Cheers!

@@MikeGIronCreek I use a 25lb at the museum where I smith. LG records indicate that it was originally sold in July of 1915. It's had some work done to it, but it's time for some work on the clutch and the sow block. In the 25 pounder, the sow block is part of the frame and they have a good description of how to repair it.
