I have a ~'78 CG, ser# 27902. It has the bell made from Zig's .016 brass, buffed down to .014. So these Zig CG bells are even lighter than the older ones made from .020 brass, which stays that thick from the bell tail around to about the middle of the valve block before the buffing starts. And yeah, these horns just go ZING! For a longtime Bach guy, it's a different kind of girlfriend - the kind that grabs your hand and pulls you upstairs, LOL
