Walking into the basement and hearing the gangster music always made me shit my pants cause I knew Jimmy the god-damned neck would be right beside the rat place
In the saloon, i always put this music, and when someone comes to change the music i spray water on them and everyone is upset except me on the dancefloor :D
THIS WAS MY FAVOURITE FREAKING SIMS SONG OMFG I USED TO GO INTO LIKE SALOON BAR AND PUT IT ON THE JUKEBOX AND SOME FUCKER ALWAYS TURNED IT OVER BEFORE THE GOOD PART
all musics from this game spook the shit out of me. Reminds me when I got this game when I was about 8, maybe I was too young, but the ambience of the game shocked me, maybe because the story takes place in a lost town in the middle of nowhere. I don't know but anyway this feeling I have when i listen to that is still fascinating to me
Does anyone else remember this game as a fever dream? A game so inexplicably strange and eerie that surely it couldn’t have been real. And yet it somehow retains a special space in your heart as a comforting childhood memory? I loved this game so much! But still… it feels like a fever dream 😂
I swear, EA just needs to go back to their roots. Bring back works of art like this and The Sims 3 (PC), so our next generation actually has the same level of nostalgia that this brings us people of today. Sims 2 was/is amazing on the PC, and its DS version held so much value that it was practically its own game, and not a heavily watered down port like TS3 DS. Just how amazing is TS2, one might ask? Think of it this way: I still hear its music being played by other companies. I lost count how many times I heard one of the Themes (either CAS or Buy Mode, I forget) playing on my niece's TV, by some commercial that has that cowgirl character from Blaze and the Monster Machines.
A few days ago I started replaying the sims 2 DS and the experience replaying it years later is just so much more enjoyable than when I was like 9-10 years old
Man, I completely forgot how started playing this game but these comments made me remember. I had played the Sims 2 on Xbox at my cousins house, wanted to get it myself, only had a DS, and saw this on eBay. I begged my grandma to get it for me, but she didnt know how bidding worked and I was like 9, so we kept getting outbid. Finally like 6 different sellers later she just bought it for 40$. At first I remember being super disappointed that it wasnt like the main version of the game, but this and Sims 2 for PSP quickly became two of my all time favorites ever :)
It's so nostalgic! When I first played the Sims 2 DS, I think I was nine or something.... And had no plan what to do, let alone how it all works! And I was afraid of the aliens too! And from the robots! But later I noticed how cool this game is! And the Music is the best part of them all!
Honestly this game should come with warning that it is not a sims game i thought I was gonna be a typical make a sim and do fun stuff i was scarred haha
The Island of Sodor is surrounded by beautiful blue sea. It has fields of green and sandy yellow beaches. There are rivers, streams, and lots of trees where the birds sing. There are windmills and a coal mine; and docks where visitors to the island arrive. The island also has lots and lots of railway lines. Who's that puffing down the track? It's Thomas! Hello, Thomas! Hello everybody! Welcome to the Island of Sodor!
Yes, there is, works differently than the original, it's more like RPG, but if you are still interested (well, you wrote it 4 years ago) you can play it on emulator on your phone (John GBA lite for free or MyBoy but to pay (the only GBA/Nintendo that makes you able to cheat, but the game is playable without cheating) or on computer/laptop. You need to only download them (emulators) and rom(game file) and that's it. Personally I recommend you to play on the phone since it's more like the Nintendo console, but the laptop/computer version is playable as well. What's more you can play other sims titles like The Sims Bustin' out or The Urbz: Sims in the city. Great occasion for true The Sims series fan. It's a great game, there is such a lot of interesting Sims living there, and missions to get through, you won't waste time playing it.
I take it all back! The counsel versions were by Mark I think, but this version is by a great handheld and indy composer Ian Stocker. You can check out his other work here at his channel: ruclips.net/channel/UCE20Uf3qvYABlUpyGx-4yyA
i'm happy to see that everyone had the same impression about this game ! it was so odd and a bit scary.. but everything was good in this game !
i used to be so scared of this game because my Sim got sent by some aliens in the desert back to her room

Not me thinking only like 10 people played this game back then, to find its soundtrack with hundreds of thousands of views 😭
You have to admit, TS2 was the best of the series and so was it's games for the other platforms as well (:
This song always made me feel like dancing.

this literally goes harder than any of the other CAS songs and for what
I thought this game was kind of happy themed game, but I was wrong.

When you got this game because you thought it was actually the Sims two but it's actually completely different
I remember this song !! I got this game for my 9th birthday in 2009 and I still played it in 2011 I lost it though.
my sister had this and said she would give it to me when I got a ds. I got a dsi for Christmas 2009 when I was 6. she threw the game away.
I lost it when i was about thirteen and gave my ds to my cousin...i regret it soo much
I played the hell out of this game 10 years ago and I was only 13 or 14 years old at the time!😄
