"The smile has left your eyes" is so so underrated. Y'all will not regret watching it. The plot, the characters, and the chemistry between SIG and JSM is so good.

I am sorry clearly you do not know that an 8.2 percent rating on a FREE TV is underwhelming--especially in 2017. SO DEFINITELY UNDERrated. In fact, most of JCW's dramas are poor performers-- only Princess Ki did really well ratings-wise. Even the Healer was so-so but was more appreciated when shown outside Sokor. What award again--SBS award you mean? Award from its own network is not prestigious, koya. If it is not Baeksang-- not worth crowing about. YES, IT IS UNDERRATED DEFINITELY.
I don't think it was popular among domestic viewers, especially for a drama with such famous actors. And 10% rating for a sbs (free network) drama is considered a low-moderate rating. They also mean that compared to how good the drama is it didn't recieve the attention it deserved. It's also not nearly as popular among international viewers as other shows even by ji chang wook
The portrayal of the love between the characters is just phenomenal...Showcasing the love through such little yet meaningful moments between characters is awesome ❤️❤️
@@nathalie3296 thats what am going to watch after Tale of Nine Tails, I did watch part of the first episode while waiting for translation to be completed and what I saw it was very good. It was some intense acting you can feel the creepiness from the parents. Joon Ki is a great actor so I think he choose well with Flower of Evil. Am picky too when it comes to dramas, I have "Stangers from Hell" on my list to watch. What others dramas are on your list?
I didn't watch the drama but i know that the female lead died. Not sure if it's still a good ending or not though because there are dramas where the leading roles died but still great watches.
@@edius7557 DON’T READ IF YOU DON’t want spoilers. Why are people saying she died? I watched it; she didn’t die. The last few episodes were heartbreaking, but the main characters ended up together, maybe not in the ideal way, but I consider it a happy ending.
While everyone's been talking about other dramas but me crying over just between lovers. The depth and the plot,the characters were potrayed on point.😭
I watched it two years ago and still think about it. It was definitely one of the first more 'meaningful' dramas I'd ever watched. STILL one of the most powerful! Totally a top 5 for me!

I was about to say suspicious partner was pretty famous, oh my Venus is also pretty famous too on the other hand he is psychometric was mentioned a lot when was on air but after that I’ve never heard of it again and it’s a pretty good one.

Are You Human Too and Suspicious Partner are not underrated. They are really popular. But agree with the rest of the list, especially Just Between Lovers. That one is really underrated. Junho is so good in it.

I couldn't stand Jang Nara but love the bromance between Seo In Guk and Park Bo Geum. I don't know why but I tend to avoid anything that has Jang Nara in it.
Exactly!! I hv recommended it so many people but idk they don't even watch it coz it's not famous. It's one of the best drama I hv seen in K-industry. I don't even remember how many times I hv repeated it
lmao i dropped it. i couldn't stand the FL and they kept focusing on her. but if you liked that, i think you'll like stranger. its a lot less dramatic and is more of a realistic slow burner, but it is extremely good and has a similar vibe.

*The first responders* - such an underrated kdrama. The cast is amazing, new cases after every 2-3 episodes, the plot is amazing, the ML is smart so is the FL. Loved it. Everyone should watch it.
I remembered Chicago Typewriter and Strongest Deliveryman from this video, watched them and was completely delighted. Can’t recommend them enough. I also got introduced to the great Go Kyung-Po through these - hope to see more of him in dramas that he’s back from military service. So thank you for this video!
Chicago typewriter's story is so unique. My fav, that I think are underrated are: Can you Hear My Heart? Bride of the Century, and That Winter, the Wind Blows are all mindtrips!😁
Excellent list. May I mention 'A Piece of Your Mind' which exquistely filmed, written, and acted. Che Soo-bin leads an excellent cast with some of the most beautiful cinematography I've seen in a K-drama. The story is touching and compelling. The disappointing audience response led to an early termination but it is well worth seeking out. So glad you mentioned I am not a Robot, one of my favourites with a story that in its was is as deep as it is sweet.
Actually all are great I watch these and endless other comedies dramas romance period historical. Best in the world in my opinion. These actors and actresses are truly serious about their acting makes these movies more real to us. We keep coming back for more. And we love our handsome favorites our eye candy as we call them. Have many favorite actresses too. Love the people who make all this work so well like writers producers directors crew members which without them we would not be able to.enjoy these movies and series and watch all those talented stars we love so. All are just cream of the crop. Top of the heap for me Keep those hits coming our way. There is nothing else much to watch but the best of the best. At eighteen was the best kdramas that shows about highschool life..Everyone character in this drama was very humble and mature....This stories about no matter how big mistake that you make but dont break the relationship...Moreover, this stories tell you to NOT run away from your problem but faced it to find the truth..Besides that,the dramas realistic portrayal of 18 year old and the amazing job done by the actors...Last but not least, At Eighteen is a refreshing & heartwarming drama that you need to watch....And this dramas based on the truth stories in real life that every single student faced nowdays.....

They never ever mention The Nokdu Flower. What a fantastic historical drama. Jo Jung Suk and Yoo Shi Yoon and the entire cast ensemble were just so perfect for their roles and they gave a truly amazing performance.

I have seen them mentioned everywhere and thought they are popular. When I got to know kdramas exist, those were among the first I watched because they were recommended everywhere. And of course I loved both of them. Still the best ones of 80 dramas I have seen.

Angel's Love Mission is a great drama fr. I doubt it was underrated tho because i think Shin Hye Sun won best actress award for it? Not sure but for sure a lot of people talked about it.

Romance is a bonus book. It's such a beautiful show. I don't know how well received its been because of Lee Jong Suk and his departure to the military but the show as a whole is so subtle, emotional, deep and sensitive. ❤️

Watch “My Mister” please.. its the best kdrama of all time and besides this there is also “W-two worlds” and “The Flower of Evil” but as already said “My Mister” is another level
When the Weather is fine is so good. I think people ignored it because it starts off slow, but it is so raw and honest, unlike any other Drama I have seen. Wish I had a big screen for the scenery too.

Hwayugi actually had bad ratings bc of lots of broadcasting mistakes and even though I agree that the story is good, it has one of the worst CGIs I've seen in dramas

For me I prefer to watch the underrated more than the popular kdramas. There's always something that makes me stop watching or continuing the popular dramas maybe its because there are too much spoilers from others going on. Or I just love discovering a kdramas on my own

After watching Stranger, I tried watching this and I dropped straight away because Stranger gave me so good impression on how genius, smart and calm prosecutor can be

I'm watching Suspicious Partner right now, along with two others. Have now gotten to the point where I only want to watch SP 'til I'm done, though the others are also good. Hard to beat the charming, puppy-eyed Ji Chang Wook !!
Definitely 👍👍👍 not long finished it..... cannot sing its praises highly enough. If you liked the main lead, watch him in an older chef type series called “Pasta” He’s such a good actor.
Just between lovers is one of the best I've watched. The plot is heartwarming, actors' performance is incredible, and Lee Junho is the best as always. I recommend everyone to see it
1% OF SOMETHING with Ha Seok Jin and Jeon So-min was not on the list. The story is one of the best in the area of romance, you wont have a lot of crazy cliff hangers, anger story line and heroic idiotic nonsense. Just two people intentional thrown together by an eccentric rich grandpa and how they tried to even date just so they could get out of the conditions the grandpa put them in. It's hilarious and endearing.

Hyena is amazing! More please. One of the stand-out dramas of all time. Absolutely original characters. The acting is special. Chemistry develops in a unique way. Needs season 2!!!
CIRCLE by yeo jin goo As a broadcasting student I love the storyline, the cinematography, and the actors. You guys should watch it, it's very unique and I just don't understand why it's not popular considering how good it is. Vagabond is one of the best i have ever seen, you really have to chek it out. Its about a stuntman whose Nephew died in a terrorist attack, so he tries to figure out what really happend. The whole Series is about questioning yourself whether you can trust someone or not and a huge plot twist in the end. Can wait for season 2 :) *also Bae Suzy is in the main cast!!
‘The Smile Has Left Your Eyes’ and ‘Just Between Lovers’ are extremely good dramas. I’m also surprised that ‘I’m not a robot’ is also on this list. Personally for me I don’t go by what’s popular, but what’s most interesting to me lol.
From this list, I've only seen *I am not a Robot;* and I can honestly say that it's truly wonderful. The acting... the chemistry between actors... everything... it all came together so we'll. I'm amazed that its considered an 'underrated' K-Drama.

It was some intense acting you can feel the creepiness from the parents. Joon Ki is a great actor so I think he choose well with Flower of Evil.

I watched it two years ago and still think about it. It was definitely one of the first more 'meaningful' dramas I'd ever watched. STILL one of the most powerful! Totally a top 5 for me!

Excellent list. May I mention 'A Piece of Your Mind' which exquistely filmed, written, and acted. Che Soo-bin leads an excellent cast with some of the most beautiful cinematography I've seen in a K-drama. The story is touching and compelling. The disappointing audience response led to an early termination but it is well worth seeking out. So glad you mentioned I am not a Robot, one of my favourites with a story that in its was is as deep as it is sweet.

They never ever mention The Nokdu Flower. What a fantastic historical drama. Jo Jung Suk and Yoo Shi Yoon and the entire cast ensemble were just so perfect for their roles and they gave a truly amazing performance.

I have seen them mentioned everywhere and thought they are popular. When I got to know kdramas exist, those were among the first I watched because they were recommended everywhere. And of course I loved both of them. Still the best ones of 80 dramas I have seen.

For me I prefer to watch the underrated more than the popular kdramas. There's always something that makes me stop watching or continuing the popular dramas maybe its because there are too much spoilers from others going on. Or I just love discovering a kdramas on my own

Just between lovers is one of the best I've watched. The plot is heartwarming, actors' performance is incredible, and Lee Junho is the best as always. I recommend everyone to see it
1% OF SOMETHING with Ha Seok Jin and Jeon So-min was not on the list. The story is one of the best in the area of romance, you wont have a lot of crazy cliff hangers, anger story line and heroic idiotic nonsense. Just two people intentional thrown together by an eccentric rich grandpa and how they tried to even date just so they could get out of the conditions the grandpa put them in. It's hilarious and endearing.

As a broadcasting student I love the storyline, the cinematography, and the actors. You guys should watch it, it's very unique and I just don't understand why it's not popular considering how good it is. It's the same feeling I got when I watched Chicago typewriter: "this is such a gem! Why is no one talking about this drama??"

Vagabond is one of the best i have ever seen, you really have to chek it out. Its about a stuntman whose Nephew died in a terrorist attack, so he tries to figure out what really happend. The whole Series is about questioning yourself whether you can trust someone or not and a huge plot twist in the end. Can wait for season 2 :)

From this list, I've only seen *I am not a Robot;* and I can honestly say that it's truly wonderful. The acting... the chemistry between actors... everything... it all came together so we'll. I'm amazed that its considered an 'underrated' K-Drama.
"D-Day" is underrated drama. It's the best medical drama i've watched! I really love this drama and i can't believe that no ones talking about it.

Because this is my first life, Chicago typewriter, bridal mask, age of youth, and strangers from hell are my top 5 underrated dramas!! These are so amazing and not as well known-everyone should watch
