Thank you for this list. I’m tired of K-dramas glorifying men mistreating their women. This is like a breath of fresh air seeing men treat their women properly.

Ryan Gold and Deok Mi's relationship was really sweet and healthy later on but I wouldn't say he never doubted her with her "brother"...especially the balcony scene when she hides behind her "brother".
Kim seon Ho / Hong du shik sets the bar so high.. its very hard for any other k drama character to come nearby.. its too realistic and not over the top !!
imo the best ML I've seen so far is Ryan Gold from Her Private Life He is basically the ideal, not only for MLs, not only for men, but for people in general. He's not judgemental and he doesn't force his ideals on anyone, accepting people as they are, though, sometimes, misunderstandings really do happen.
Ri Jeong Hyeok from Crash Landing On You, Ki Seon Gyeom from Run On, Haru from Extraordinary You, Cha Eun Ho from Romance is a Bonus Book and Koo Chan Sung from Hotel Del Luna
Taekie (Choi Taek of Reply 1988) deserves to be on the list. He's always been vocal of his feelings for Dukseona but he retreats when he found out that Jung Hwan also likes her! Waited for years before making a move: cancelled a Baduk tournament for the FIRST TIME EVER (everyone knows how important Baduk to him). And he listens when DS told him to keep their relationship to themselves for awhile. He trusts her feelings and respects her decision. He gets the girl by being kind and being sensitive to her feelings. 💜 Even though he really likes her, he give way for a friend at the expense of his feelings. No competition at all, didn't treat DS as a prize.
Han Seo Jun from True Beauty definitely deserves to be on this list. He was promoted as the main lead in the posters, conferences and everything official but strangely, people don't see him as one of the main leads because he didn't get the girl. The webtoon and the story is about those three characters and he was never treated as the second lead in any of them.
goo chan sung from hotel del luna!! he accepts the female lead (jang man wol) with all her flaws wholeheartedly and helps her become a better person. he never gives up on her, always trusts in her, and even promises to be reincarnated with her as side dishes. he deserves a mention, he's so sweet 🥺

Lee sang yi in once again, nam joo hyuk in start up,lee jong suk in pinnochio, jang dong yoon in tale of nokdu, park hyung sik in what happens to my family. All these men were really nice to fl
I think Anh Minhyuk from Strong Woman Do Bong Son deserves a place here, also Ji Chan Wook from Suspicious partner and Haru from Extraordinary you :) Don’t forget Joon Sunwoo from Do Do Sol Sol la la sol
Dushik is really the BEST BOYFRIEND / HUSBAND i have seen in Korean Drama. Without any expensive things, he makes an effort to make his girl happy. That's a sign when someone is a keeper. Everything he does to Hyejin is Heartfluttering and Romantic even if he don't know it himself as he is a bit dense. Every effort and time he is willing to give his girl sends butterflies to my stomach
my favorite is chief hong from hometown cha-cha-cha. the man can do anything AND will also treat you right... he's the literal definition of the perfect man 🥺
- Run On (different communication skill but the end it is not matter. the male lead is softest talker I have seen in K drama (most of his conversation is not make normal human sense) - Lovestuck in the City (supportive, Helping female lead self discovery, accepted the way female lead become) - When the Weather is Fine (giving space and time. 24/7 ready for female lead. become her comfort and Warmness when she needs) - Start Up (making female lead dream come true, become her glory ,comfort and sure her hand) I do not think Hometown Cha Cha Cha should be on the list because Hong Dosik is fearful avoidant , a type of insecure person. He have family background problem. He is just lucky guy to have good skills and best girlfriend who understand him. The whole series he avoid to have feeling for someone. The topic is "Treat girl right not who he is" So we should focus on what male lead take action.
Also Captain Yoo Sin Jin from Descendants of the Sun. He respected Kang Mo Yeon's decision to not date him two times and did not make her feel petty for the accidental confession. They're literally the best couple
Even tho I like Something in the Rain I wouldn't put the male lead on the list. The communication between the leads was so bad throughout their relationship, yes, he was sweet and understanding and try to protect her but the lack of communication and respect was the reason why they broke up even tho they come back together at the end
I cannot get over Mr & Mrs Dimples. Hometown Cha Cha Cha couple is the healthiest and realistic couple i can see in KDrama. Plus it breaks all the stereotypes. Dushik is type of man who will make you value you the smallest things. Humble Couple. Season 2 please!!! I cannot wait to see the Couple being the heroes of GongJin Community while starting their own little adorable family ✨🥰 More potential for this story. 16 episodes werent enough
There are dramas that have badass male & innocent female lead. On the other hand there are dramas that have badass female lead and innocent male. But then comes in middle of both these, an ordinary but strong female lead and an ordinary but gentleman male lead who treats his girl right. The perfect balance. Example: hometown cha cha cha
Did not expect with ryan gold. Nam se hee is my ideal type also. He is the first fictional character that really swoon me. when ji ho fall for him. i also fall for him at that same moment
I would like to add Joon Hwi from Law School to the list, although not an official couple but he definitely knew how to treat Kang Sol A tenderly. He cared for her but never overstepped any boundaries nor did he make decisions for her. He always stood by her side but never felt the need to overshadow her.
The dude from sunbae don't put on that lipstick takes the crown for me...he didn't lie to her and was honest about his feelings for her from the very beginning, didn't force himself on her knowing she didn't like him in the begining and gave her space AND she started liking him naturally (not like many of the men mentioned in the comment section who kept shouting and screaming "WHY DON'T YOU LOVE MEEE INSTEAD OF HIM" all the time)...I actually loved how he apologized to her in the begining for involving himself in her private life as well! The show just had such mature and extremely healthy relationship portrayal in general and i did in no way expect that tbh😭
Beauty inside made me fall in love with Lee Min Ki. Now am searching for all his dramas, watched Because this is my first life and now am on My liberation notes

Thank you. Because This is My First Life was not on my radar, but now I will watch it.
Lee dong wook from touch your heart!! He is super nice!!!😍😍
I think Anh Minhyuk from Strong Woman Do Bong Son deserves a place here, also Ji Chan Wook from Suspicious partner and Haru from Extraordinary you :)
Don’t forget Joon Sunwoo from Do Do Sol Sol la la sol
Dushik is really the BEST BOYFRIEND / HUSBAND i have seen in Korean Drama. Without any expensive things, he makes an effort to make his girl happy. That's a sign when someone is a keeper. Everything he does to Hyejin is Heartfluttering and Romantic even if he don't know it himself as he is a bit dense. Every effort and time he is willing to give his girl sends butterflies to my stomach
Hong Du Shik and Ryan Gold make it impossible to find a real man that lives up to the sky high standards they've set.
Ahn min hyuk from strong woman do bong soon deserve a place here too
This is the best video to watch on a Saturday morning!
♥️♥️♥️ thank you ♥️♥️♥️ hope you have a nice day!
my favorite is chief hong from hometown cha-cha-cha. the man can do anything AND will also treat you right... he's the literal definition of the perfect man 🥺
Yoon Na Moo of Come ang Hug me; Park Soo Ha of I Hear Your Voice
Kang Ha Nuel? In when Camille bloom for me came across as bit possessive. He was so insistent in his pursuit of female lead even when she said no.
- Run On (different communication skill but the end it is not matter. the male lead is softest talker I have seen in K drama (most of his conversation is not make normal human sense)
- Lovestuck in the City (supportive, Helping female lead self discovery, accepted the way female lead become)
- When the Weather is Fine (giving space and time. 24/7 ready for female lead. become her comfort and Warmness when she needs)
- Start Up (making female lead dream come true, become her glory ,comfort and sure her hand)
I do not think Hometown Cha Cha Cha should be on the list because Hong Dosik is fearful avoidant , a type of insecure person. He have family background problem. He is just lucky guy to have good skills and best girlfriend who understand him. The whole series he avoid to have feeling for someone. The topic is "Treat girl right not who he is" So we should focus on what male lead take action.
👀 this list is gold indeed.
Goo jun pyo and kim tan disliked this video.
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 they'd dislike the Jerk video where I call them out more 😂😂😂
😂🤣🤣🤣😂😂😂
Kim seon ho Hometown Cha Cha Cha forever 🥰🥰
VINCENZO !!!!!! Like they are one of the healthiest couple of kdrama land
Also Captain Yoo Sin Jin from Descendants of the Sun. He respected Kang Mo Yeon's decision to not date him two times and did not make her feel petty for the accidental confession. They're literally the best couple
Please do a part two with something in the rain included pleaseeeeee
I will consider a part 2! I will have to rewatch something in the rain though 😂
Thanks I appreciate
Even tho I like Something in the Rain I wouldn't put the male lead on the list. The communication between the leads was so bad throughout their relationship, yes, he was sweet and understanding and try to protect her but the lack of communication and respect was the reason why they broke up even tho they come back together at the end
You know its about male lead who treat female lead right, all these male lead character has flaws but he tried his best to treat her right also.
Please tell about the female leads who treat their boys right
im all up for the hong banjang appreciation! definitely one of, if not my favourite MLs atm. and sehee comes a close second, tehee.
Can you make part 2 of this plz🙏😊
Most probably! It will take a while though 🥺🥺
@@BbaliDrama Tysm, and we'll wait 😊
Nam Se Hee is just superior. He's awkward and relatable so I really warmed up to his character.
i will add Gi seong gyum from Run on
Will add him for the part 2 if I do it 👉👈
There are dramas that have badass male & innocent female lead.
Seo Kong-Myung from Into the Ring (Memorials) this male lead fully supports our female lead so much that he becomes her secretary
I think Haru from Extraordinary you should be on the list
To be honest I feel all the males of Hospital Playlist treated their girl right. ❤️
👏 Thanks for sharing.
What a perfect list it just made my day perfect male main lead of k-dramas 🥰🥰.
The king eternal monarch
Lee geon (lee min ho)
You forgot 30 but still 17. One of the most respectful ML eveeeeer
Seo Gong Myung from Into The Ring. I like smart man who fully support a female lead
Hong banjang❤😘 Best boyfriend💝 #HometownChaChaCha 💚🌸
Beauty inside made me fall in love with Lee Min Ki. Now am searching for all his dramas, watched Because this is my first life and now am on My liberation notes
