He had no relationship with her other than that of landlord. Things changed over time. He had never been married. He lived with a woman and things happened but marriage was not one of the things that happened.

The character of Nam Se-hee was damaged by everything that had happened in the previous relationship that is why he had been avoiding having another relationship. The relationship began to change and he had reached a point where he was ready to admit he loved her. Should he have revealed such personal information when they were just roommates?

I really like how not.only female leads typical character but also male characters are changing from "cold- and-traumatic-man-who-changes-for- the-female-lead" to charismatic and gentlemen who are mature enough to be in a relationship.

nah iksong couple is the most realistic one from here. They're the perfect example of bestfriends to lovers couple, perfect timing and maturity. They can't even look at each other after deciding to date lol. They're definitely the most realistic ones.
definitely ki seon gyeom from run on! overall, i feel like run on is such an underrated drama🥺 no unnecessary love triangle, no over the top conflicts - just the right amount of humor, quirkiness, self-growth, and self love💖💜 very recommended, especially to deal with post homcha syndrome😁

Cause in Run on you would have expected this whole dramatic piece where the male lead family just going down on the female lead and then the female lead choosing to stay away and saying that oh he can forget her and such but he really wasn't that

I am so happy that you added Ryan Gold in this list .Like literally no one talks about Her private life and this couple. This couple had one of the most mature relationships and Ryan was one of the best ideal male lead.

Hometown cha cha cha ending was everything we wanted i was in tears it started off by showing village and heyjin running and trying to compete but in last scene she is in a bride dress with different warmth in her face and just running with du sik and it ended by again showing the village

She will reject immediately if he have hidden intention. her family background make her insecure person. Male lead always welcome whatever whenever for her. never asking question. he is very secure person with care. she love him because his secureness and how long he keep loving her without something in exchange. Barista the second lead in another hand , he love her for long time also but she reject him because his agenda always is about her which he planed it with high intention, which would never worked out for her.

Kind and caring, supportive leading male characters are so good, I love how there's a shift away from romanticising abusive bfs in kdrama, that whole trope was so unhealthy

Because this is my first life is my recent fav...
They have shy but strong personalities... Some people say you have to watch it twice in order to understand the full meaning behind this drama.. I just loved both of them, it was healthy and had a different vibe to it 🤗
Too bad the "sequel" had a very sh*ty ep 16. If you know what i mean ;)
Because this is my first life... was very pleasant to watch. I didn't like the last thing but I kind of understand why it happens and yes, it's a healthy relationship done right 👉👈

I loved this series, too, and I even rewatched it recently. Lee Min-ki became my favorite Korean male actor after watching it the first time. And the small kiss at the end of their phone call in the last episode… hahaha… so atypical of him.
@@riaconradt2554 monthly magazine home. It had almost the same feel with JSM as the FL. Homeless poor girl with ML as the landlord. Just my advice if you want to watch it just end the drama at episode 15.

lovestuck in the city. Male lead treat female lead very well. She lie her indentity, steal male lead expensive camera, left without notice anything. Female lead love him because he is silly in love and he never get angry her. Always try to understand, soft talk, taking care, cheerful while female lead always is conflict, not confident and pretend her personality to be someone else. Quite hard to watch because they break 4th wall talk to viewer all time in the series and cross talk to another character in the series.

The thing about hong bangjang, ryan gold and hongshik are that they're not only kind to the ML only, they also kind to other people in the drama..
Ryan Gold and Deok Mi's relationship was really sweet and healthy later on but I wouldn't say he never doubted her with her "brother"...especially the balcony scene when she hides behind her "brother".
imo the best ML I've seen so far is Ryan Gold from Her Private Life
He is basically the ideal, not only for MLs, not only for men, but for people in general. He's not judgemental and he doesn't force his ideals on anyone, accepting people as they are, though, sometimes, misunderstandings really do happen.

Hyun bin in crash landing you is also a golden boyfriend. They both had each and every quality one should have when being in love
Taekie (Choi Taek of Reply 1988) deserves to be on the list. He's always been vocal of his feelings for Dukseona but he retreats when he found out that Jung Hwan also likes her! Waited for years before making a move: cancelled a Baduk tournament for the FIRST TIME EVER (everyone knows how important Baduk to him). And he listens when DS told him to keep their relationship to themselves for awhile. He trusts her feelings and respects her decision.
He gets the girl by being kind and being sensitive to her feelings. 💜 Even though he really likes her, he give way for a friend at the expense of his feelings. No competition at all, didn't treat DS as a prize.

Han Seo Jun from True Beauty definitely deserves to be on this list. He was promoted as the main lead in the posters, conferences and everything official but strangely, people don't see him as one of the main leads because he didn't get the girl. The webtoon and the story is about those three characters and he was never treated as the second lead in any of them.

Yes, Run On male lead is most soft talker, i have seen in K Drama. He is polite to the point that female lead sent signal to stay with her tonight by having ramayon (sexual) to gather. and He still come up ask her when will we have ramayon(food)?. Lovestuck in the city also polite, heart worming even the female lead did terrible thing to him. he have never gotten angry her . This male lead always softly talk to her. She love him because he is silly in love, and He can not hate her. Very heart warm series.

I do not think Hometown Cha Cha Cha should be on the list because Hong Dosik is fearful avoidant , a type of insecure person. He have family background problem. He is just lucky guy to have good skills and best girlfriend who understand him. The whole series he avoid to have feeling for someone. The topic is "Treat girl right not who he is" So we should focus on what male lead take action.

Dushik is really the BEST BOYFRIEND / HUSBAND i have seen in Korean Drama. Without any expensive things, he makes an effort to make his girl happy. That's a sign when someone is a keeper. Everything he does to Hyejin is Heartfluttering and Romantic even if he don't know it himself as he is a bit dense. Every effort and time he is willing to give his girl sends butterflies to my stomach

There are dramas that have badass male & innocent female lead. On the other hand there are dramas that have badass female lead and innocent male. But then comes in middle of both these, an ordinary but strong female lead and an ordinary but gentleman male lead who treats his girl right. The perfect balance.

Even tho I like Something in the Rain I wouldn't put the male lead on the list. The communication between the leads was so bad throughout their relationship, yes, he was sweet and understanding and try to protect her but the lack of communication and respect was the reason why they broke up even tho they come back together at the end

I would like to add Joon Hwi from Law School to the list, although not an official couple but he definitely knew how to treat Kang Sol A tenderly. He cared for her but never overstepped any boundaries nor did he make decisions for her. He always stood by her side but never felt the need to overshadow her.
