- French President Emmanuel Macron announced Monday new steps to boost Ukraine in its fight against the Russian invasion, saying not even the sending of Western ground troops was ruled out to achieve Europe's goal of defeating Moscow.

It could be, because ukraine can evacuate wounded back to rear medical facilities faster, and more serious cases are going direct to poland and other nearby countries. Some have gotten treatment in the US. Russia doesnt evacuate much and mainly just removes corpses that could have been saved. Russia doesnt want amputees back in their homeland, for several reasons.

@@augustiner3821 France military alone is comparable to RU and in the long run there is a good change they could defeat RU alone with transitioning to full war economy. If they had any help, like they probably will like from Poland etc. It's obvious that RU doesn't have the advantage if France gets involved.

As a citizen of a NATO country (the Netherlands), I can assure that I won't fight for Ukraine, regardless of what some politicians might want. In my opinion, NATO started this war, not Russia. Russia was simply provoked.

Has anybody thought, what will happen if every nation on earth became NATO member, including China, Russia, Iraq, Afghanistan, Syria and Palestine? Will anybody need the heavy duty bombers or tanks, that US makes and run their economy on?
I thought Putin had made a big mistake going into Ukraine, however he has proven to be a great dancer, has he not, So here we are 2 yrs in and what has he accomplished, hes completely depleted western supplies of ammo and other resources, has turned his own country into a military industrial complex, actually raised his gdp, sanctions and all, grabbed some land populated by mostly russian speaking people, created an entire economic eco-system outside of the sanctions, who is winning this war again? Make peace and move on, those lands will never be part of Ukraine again, lets not start ww3 over some corrupt soviet bloc country, its not our fight, and its certainly not worth ending civilization.

We are actually not! We saved a lot for rainy days. Germany has half the population and twice the GDP than russia with all the oil/gas/gold/ores! We bought the USSR out of debt in the early 1990ś!
