I completely agree, kids on the internet are completely out of control, if parents allow their small children [5-10] to have technology, they should be monitoring them, or they should wait until they are a teenager or their at a reasonable age to have a phone, ridiculous
I frankly agree with this. I cannot fathom the reason as to why parents think it's okay to let their VERY young children have full access to the Internet unfiltered. It's insane to me. I mean, I feel that the Internet has impacted ME in negative ways, and I never had unsupervised access to the Internet until I was 12 years old, and never made any RUclips or social media accounts until I was 17. I can't imagine how it may impact someone as young as 5-10 years old.
I feel the pain. Ever since I was kid, I don’t have phone or tablet. I only have toys, playing games on Nintendo DS & 3DS, and watching movies on vhs tapes a long time ago. For now, These parents need to teach their kids not to be on the internet, this is just getting worse. I agree with you, this generation is crazy and disappointed.
And another thing that feels really strange to me is that so many kids are trying to be grown and act like who ever social media influencers they're into nowadays when meanwhile I and a small community of young adult people who are trying to reclaim their childhood by toy collecting and cosplaying as their favorite fictional characters and painting, drawing etc. It's just the irony actually makes me feel kind of sad. Without a doubt I think these kids are going to be be doing the same as us when they're our age.

Everything that you mentioned, I’m in the same boat as you sister. Turns out, you and me have a lot in common. But, you gotta understand that this world will always be broken when we’re living on it. There are EVIL forces at work in our society and sin is the center of it all. This just goes to show you that the world is getting worse and worse, and will continue to be until Jesus’s second coming. Things WILL get a whole lot worse before they get any better. You just gotta prepare for it. But in the meantime we Christians should continue doing what we do best, spreading the good news about the gospel of Christ to those who are lost. Yes. Thank you. My brothers act like absolute jerks sometimes, but I'll just say right now that I'm not any better than them. I say awful things sometimes, I'll give them that, but yes. RUclips shorts is what might be affecting both of my brothers behaviours, because one of my brothers act really bratty most of the time, and my parents say I act like a brat, but my brother doesn't which I don't think is fair. He growls and screeches and sometimes even hits and kicks people when he's annoyed. My other little brother is kind of a snitch and it's so so obvious that he's the favourite, even though my parents say they don't have a favourite child. He acts a little bit better than my youngest brother, but still really annoying and sometimes a jerk. I'll say right now that I'm not a very nice person right now either, but it's not social media that's affected my behaviour. My parents can be really rude or mean to me sometimes, like my Mum calls me some really mean names or swear words, or she swears at me. She get's offended over even the smallest things, if I say one thing that might offend her, she'll go off on me. I really do try to be a better and more mature girl, but I'm still a teenager and I've got a lot going through my head. Let's just say my whole life my Mum has yelled at me, she used to slap me but stopped when I was 10 and now denies she even did it at all, she calls me horrible names, but part of me believes I deserve it because I can act like an absolute jerk sometimes. I've never said anything really offensive or cruel, but my Mum makes out like I do. Let's just say she calls me selfish and lazy and all this stuff, but I'm suffering from depression. It hurts when somebody who's not depressed tries to make out like they understand depressed people, and then they really don't. As a depressed person, it hurts when somebody calls me lazy, because I really am trying. I'm sorry for venting like this, but the whole point is that you are correct. This generation is messed and screwed up in many different ways. My brothers always talk about ripping limbs off, chopping heads, shooting, stabbing, killing, and they even hurt each other. They've hurt each other real bad sometimes... but yeah, another thing is that my Dad pretty much lets them get away with most things. Unless if they kick or hit each other. He'll just tell them to stop. I used to do hit them sometimes but I stopped when I was 11 because I knew how much it affects someone and I know how that feels, so that's why I stopped. I never wanted to hit them, I was just young and stupid and I was taking my anger out on them from when my Mum broke my heart, over and over again. I'll also just say right now I was a very sad child, and my Mum may not believe that, or she might also wonder why I was such a sad child. I remember she used to tell me to stop crying or she'll "give me something to cry about". Now, like I said, I'm not a very nice person myself, and I am working hard to improve my behaviour and the way I act, but I regret a lot of things I've done in my life. I constantly feel guilty about everything I've done and said in the past, because I know I can't take some things back. I know everyone makes mistakes, but I've made too many. My brothers have a better childhood than me when I was their age. I got slapped repeatedly, yelled at, sweared at, left alone in my room to cry, and now it's like my brothers get different treatment. Now I promise I am not saying I want them to get slapped. I don't wish that on anybody... but my Mum still yells and swears at them, but she doesn't say as hurtful things to them as she does to me. Her words can really hurt sometimes. Not only was I a sad child, but I was kind of an angry child too because of both of my parents yelling and swearing and slapping me. I totally agree about that, I'm 19 years old and it's just sad seeing that like... Come one play with whatever you have at home ! I still have my plushies (even though my parents are telling me to sell them because my room is filled with the ones from when I was younger 😅) and I still have my toys and play with them... One days I was going to the cinema with my class (it happened last year) and I saw a dad giving his baby the phone... THE BABY WAS IN A STROLLER !!! Like hello ?!! I’m speaking out for the teen RUclipsrs. We all agree with RUclips only allowing people aged 13 & over. But most parents don’t care and still make an account for their kids anyway. Most millennial parents don’t acknowledge what parental controls are, and it’s their fault.
I certainly wasn't watching brain rot either I watched shows like SpongeBob, Danny Phantom, Jimmy Newtron, FairyOdd Parents, ect. The only inappropriate things I watched when I was younger was when I sneakily stayed up and watched Adults Swim and watches stuff like Family Guy, American Dad, Boondocks, ect. But other than that I say I grew up just fine.
