Hey Roamer, I understand that you only intend to play up until the 4th game, but if you ever do decide to play the later games, there’s actually a FNAF 6, but it’s titled “Freddy Fazbear’s Pizzeria Simulator”, and it’s purposefully advertised to look like a simplistic arcade game. Trust me when I say that there’s more to it than it seems! Just something to keep in mind in case you ever want to continue the FNAF series!
Man FFPS is one of the, if not the best fnaf game made by Scott alone and it's probably the most fun and replayable one. I hope roamer plays it one day
He only intends on playing up until FNaF 4?
That's a shame, Sister Location and Pizzeria Simulator are the best ones imo. At least we'll have a good amount of fun until then
@@red20753 I agree. However, i hope he at least considers SL, FFPS and SB after this experience. It IS 20 nights in one month after all. He might get intrigued enough to do them later. Who knows?
@@lassesj200 It is a possibility but i don't want him to do it if he doesn't want. Even if he does only the first 4 games he can play the others on October 2023 or even play by himself offscreen

Freddy is so impossible to figure out, and thats what I love about his AI
Freddy can't move if a camara is on him. He can only move if the cameras are active.
Of course he makes it pretty tricky by making himself hard to spot.
He also doesn't show up in the doorway lights; if he reaches your open door he'll skip right past it (and he doesn't even jam it, to boot) and kill you.
Also Freddy wont go back. Once he reaches the hallway he will never leave
he is VERY different from the others. Knowing his AI and audio cues while watching fnaf playthroughs is a blessing though. It's like a jumpscare warning if you can keep track of him.
Namely, the laughs tell you when he moves. He goes dining area -> bathroom -> kitchen -> east hall -> east hall corner -> office. He never shows up in the doorway/window, so once he's in the east hall corner, he's in attack mode, and can only move when the camera is up but not watching him. If the door's closed, he'll move further back in the hall, and if it's open, he'll move into the office--after which death is basically inevitable, and it's only a matter of a randomly-rolled number of seconds until his jumpscare. So once I heard the laugh at 22:57 I knew death was coming.
or, TLDR: if he's in the east hall corner and you hear him laugh, and the player's right door was open, turn your volume down. Death is coming :)

I literally said to myself "He's going to be eaten" he exits the camera, checks the wrong side, and then I get scared even though I was expecting it 😂.
I think 1 - 4 is a good selection. Although my personal favorite entry is 6 (Fnaf Pizzaria Simulator), playing through the 4th game alone is going to be really fun!
So excited for the rest of the games! I've been playing FNAF for years and I still jumped at the Freddy jumpscare lol
To everyone saying he should play the rest of the FNaF games, there's always next year, and it'll be worth the wait
19:37 when it doesn't let you push the button, that means the animatronic is already in the room, so you didn't press it fast enough. The reaction time needed is pretty fast
He's confirmed he will not play the rest of the franchise because "No other game franchise on my channel gets that much coverage"
I personally think this is silly for several reasons, 1 is that the fnaf games are extremely short compared to other games he's played, each game could probably be done in 3 parts, 2 Sister Location has good storytelling and Pizzeria Sim wraps up the series nicely, and 3, if he plans on playing all the Deltarune chapters, he'll be breaking this rule of his unless there's a loophole because "The different chapters aren't TECHNICALLY different games!" even though they kinda are.

1 through 4 is a good choice imo. They're more focused on gameplay while most of the stuff past that gets so bogged down with confusing lore.
Sad that you'll only play up until 4, there is so much insane lore involved and its a massive rabbit hole to go down. Its also a pretty wild journey. My recommendation to anyone discovering FNAf for the first time is to play every game, and then watch every Game Theory video on it (There's like 30 of them), or at least the 30-minute long lore breakdown video. The entire plot of the games is wild.
I will not be watching mat pat. I'm playing the 4 games that's more than any other franchise gets on the channel

@@Roamerplays That's fair. The lore starts going more and more off the rails after the first four (and matpat's rendition makes the timeline even more wildly convoluted) and is basically unrecognizable after 6.
I find Sister Location (5) and Pizzeria Simulator (6) to probably be the best of the bunch though, and they branch off of the formula quite a bit to keep things fresh. If you enjoy the first four I highly recommend checking those two out. Maybe for 2023 spooky season :)
Edit: just saw the pinned comment on the last ep of fnaf 2-- you're totally valid for however much you choose to play! It's your time and your channel, four games is already a lot for one franchise, noone should pressure you into continuing a series that you don't want to, and im sorry if this comment contributed to that at all. I stand by the recommendation if you ever do decide to revisit fnaf, but that's entirely up to you ^^

dream theory, and disk theory are wrong (though disk theory was disproven very recently through a leak of book 8 of the Pizzaplex book series, and has been hinted in sl) plus the fact he doesn't realize that two characters can coexist. (henry and edward)

Security Breach is fairly longer than the other fnaf games (and still pretty buggy). If you're going to continue past FNaF 4, I'd reccomended FNaF Sister Location (FNaF 5) and the PC exclusive Freddy Fazbears Pizzaria Simulator (FNaF 6). If you dont have time to fit them in before the end of october, the first 4 games are still a good set

Roamer, I don't know when the next game-planning-stream is. where you just talk and have a Google doc, but I know there's a lot of games you plan on playing, and my favorite one so far has been Sunshine. I don't know how much you like platforming-sidescrollers, but a game I played recently was ori and the blind forest and will of the wisps. I think you'd like the games though, just as a recommendation. Nothing to do with fnaf, but thanks for listening.

i feel stopping at fnaf4 takes away from the most unique entries. Sister Location keeps the feel while changing the gameplay and has my favorite character as well as more voice acting, and then fnaf six, pizza simulator, has not only multiple endings, lol, but some fun minigame stuff between nights to temper the spooks
No other franchise on the channel gets 2 games in a row let alone 4

@@Roamerplays There's gonna be 7 chapters, which means 5 more to play, each chapter can basically be considered it's own game. If you don't consider each chapter it's own game then I guess it works, but at the same time, FNAF games are so short that they'd take up less videos than a Deltarune Chapter would. basically 3 episodes for each game. I just think the reason of not playing them because no other game get's that coverage is silly, especially when by doing this you're missing out on the more story oriented games like sister location and pizzeria simulator, which seem right up your alley.

you will want to play fnaf 5 and 6 first so you can follow the story before the last game. also they are both very good and very different from the others. really hope you get around to it even if its next year. you wont wanna miss out. also maybe some day you can try to beat the custom night where you set all the ai levels to 20 which is a special mode called 4/20 mode. its the hardest difficulty in the game and requires some practice.
