So good to see you both today - and I love your new patterns. I was born and raised in IA , but moved to MN when I finished school so I enjoy hearing about your gardening, your chickens and seeing your stitching. Stitching and loving the rural landscape will always be in my blood. Kudos to you for finding a stitching group. I went to a sewing retreat last week for 4 days after many years of not going and I had a great time. It was good to be with kindred spirits and I look forward to attending again next year. Happy stitching and creating and thank you as always for sharing your time and talents. 😊

I was recently told by someone that they love how my Iowa-ness shows through in my designs. I never really thought about it but I guess it's true. I think it would be hard to take the Iowa out of any of us who were born and raised here! I've never been to MN but hope to visit one day. My daughter and her family just vacationed there and it looks beautiful! A sewing retreat sounds fun! Thank you for your kind words and for watching us. Happy creating!

@@AsberysEchoesStitches - I love going back to Iowa - my older sister brought me up to the Twin Cities after I finished school, I met a (city boy from Minneapolis) LOL- we got married and have 2 boys - still live in the suburbs and I am always sad I could never raise chickens - depends where you live. We love to take road trips and I’m always looking out the window (while I’m stitching) to see how the crops are growing, the beautiful farms, barns and livestock. Just so peaceful. My husband is and always has been good to let me have my menagerie of cats and dogs over the years as well as letting our boys have their own pets. Have a good July 4th and happy stitching 🧵😊

I'm working on getting the Blue House series finished so I can display them all! I'm glad you like them too! Drew and I are going to have to measure the chain sometime and see just how long it is - and I need to ask the lady who gave it to me if she did it all herself, and if so how long did it take. It's pretty impressive! Happy 4th to you too!

Hello Drew and Rhonda: Nice to see you again, we have missed you both. Drew: I am interested who is Sleeperdude? just curious. In Duluth Minnesota there is a lift bridge that goes up, your designs are so sweet and vintage looking, Rhonda you always pick the perfect finish, I also use Brewax, it is great.
I do not think you have shown the finished construction of the design, oh my gosh the squirrels are adorable, if I lived close to you I would love to sit and sit and stich and talk about stitching and your designs, I am a lonely stitcher, no one here in Annandale Mn. stitch's that I know of, so happy you were able to stitch with a group, what a great idea for the shop.
Love the green box, wowzer, oh the bubble gum wrapper chain is amazing, we made small ones to wear but that looks like something that could be hung on a tree at Christmas, love it, Drew you are so lucky to have that. Love the cabinet, she is the Mother Hen design from Not Forgotten Farm, love your finish.

Sleeperdude is a RUclips channel that we enjoy watching together as a family. It's a husband and wife and their three children. They go out and find old vehicles and get them running again. They also have goats, potbellied pigs, cats, dogs, etc. and the animals are always in the shop with them. They are fun to watch!
I would love to sit and stitch and talk with you! I never understood just how fun it would be to sit and stitch with others and talk about our crafts. I'm excited that we all wanted to get together again and try to make it a monthly thing.
Great idea to hang the bubblegum wrapper on a Christmas tree - we might have to do that.
Thank you so much for watching and commenting! Happy stitching!

I'm not sure if we can be friends anymore, if you don't like iced tea! I am sooooo addicted to sweet tea! I'm a tea-aholic. I love the box! You could display it open, and use it like a dough bowl. You could put a stitched piece on the inside of the lid.
