My Final LAL lock-in was two days ago. Even during the adjustment period, I would look around me and be amazed/thankful to have such incredible vision. Can't recall having this good of vision with or without glasses/contacts. To summarize your video is easy -- i.e., ditto :)
I have the light adjustable lens, and Tuesday is my lock in date. The vision is really good with each eye on its own. If you have one eye adjusted for reading, and one eye for distance remember it’s going to take some getting used to. I work with Numbers all day and have to look at a computer monitor as well as paperwork. I’m probably going to have to get cheaters for detail Because my right eye is blurry for close-up and interferes with the left one. it’s better than what I had before but it’s definitely not perfect
Thanks for this video. I am considering a LAL for my second eye. The other has a mono focal set for distance (dominant eye) placed in the sulcus after capsular bag rupture and vitrectomy for lens fragments. Luckily it is plano. I am a photographer.
Don’t forget to tell people what it cost, and that insurance will not pay for a premium lens. You’re looking at anywhere between $10-$13,000 for both eyes depending on where you live.. driving vision is great but there’s no way he would be able to read anything with both eyes set for distance. Do your research.
