While Agincourt was a thing, it's because French noblemen were so arrogant and undisciplined. But, once they got motivated (thanks to a certain peasant girl), you got something like Battle of Patay.
F4 tells your archers to hold fire/open fire. F2, then F3 will put your archers in loose formation, allowing them to fire more accurately. You can click and drag when ordering your troops or just look a certain way and press F7 to make them face a certain direction.

Skill issue
I suck at combat and still do tourneys
And I win most of the time
Theres some tactics if u want
In multi team battle u just need to last longer than others like top 2 teams usually
So as long as u run and let the other teams die first ur good there
Anything 2v2 where theres a ranged and a sword and board the enemy usually charges and leaves range behind just gang up on the charger with ur other dude either move up with ur mate or wait until the courage gets to u two at the back
Also bonus is jumping on horse back once riders are down to run
Now the gang up tactics is usually good even in 4v4s etc
Stay with a guy and try and get extra and grab horse if u start losing and try drive boys might take a while but usually doable
Also any good companions u got sometimes go into tournaments and will get the prize for u so u loose bets but win the prize if one of them win
Anything sword and board 1v1 I focus shield basing to get damage
And anything with throwing here the enemy focuses using them for some reason so dodge fairly easy throw a couple as they close distance and then sword and board tactics from before u can usually kill with body shots as they approach after u dodge their ammo
Now I'm worse once we start getting to culture that use more 2 handers etc
But I find u can run away and start a swing then spin ur aim back and hit them as u flee this I use as I'm out numbered other wise gang up tactic as usual
Now horse heavy can be worse but try and couch lance people usually here if u deal with archers u can win there
If u get dismantled and theres sno other horses a few areana have rocks tree etc to hide behind and use to break a horse charge
But now im forgetting what I've said so far but to summarise
Gang up at all times and fuck range unless ur decent with it
And run and try and last in multi team fights
Jump on free horses
Good luck with these strats even tho I really suck I win more than loose and they are broken as fuck for money and rep and even influence especially if u take certain perks like rogue deep pockets for more betting or the first charm perk that give 3 extra renown and I think theres a one handed perk that can also double renown gain but dint quote me on that
But yeah frankly I find tourneys almost broken for me I can get clan timers very easy especially early
