I got through the Blue Lions route and had to stop because continuing to play Hopes was like.... emotional self harm, especially cause it didn't really have an ending 😭
I totally wanted DLC when the game came out, and I'd probably pick the game up again if they miraculously did decide to do it. I loved Sylvain's brother in the azure gleam timeline, and he's one of many supporting characters who weren't made playable that, in this game, could have been made possible to recruit under special conditions. For Lord Lonato this is especially true, since Edelgarde saves him in her route. There's really no justification for leaving characters like him and Alois out of the party.
My boy looking CLEAN🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 But three hopes does make me sad😭. I kinda wish it was turn based. Three hopes story is better imo story wise. But three hopes got no love after launch. 😭I wish we could get more games out of the three houses characters though.
Three hopes deserved so much better Idc about invalidating Byleth just make it so you can only get good endings if you recruit Byleth it's not like any of the endings in houses invalidate each other so ??? It really should have gotten DLC
I bought this game the other day because I missed my girl Constance, I originally skipped it because it wasn't a strategy RPG but I'm more open to play a spin off game now since I got my traditional FE fixs with Engage
@@Leo_Djax That's fair. Sadly we got this and Engage instead of a proper Three Houses 2. Not that Engage is bad in Gameplay but the characters sometimes make me want to vomit. Double the Avatar worship than Three Houses.
Honestly, considering what we ended up getting, I really wish we had just gotten a traditional FEW2 instead. I don't like 3H, and I'm honest to god so sick of Fodlan, but I will at least admit that Hopes, for the most part, has a more interesting story than Houses by virtue of Shez being a much better protagonist than Byleth, and also seeing more of the world and nobles that we never got to see back in Houses by virtue of not being glued to Garreg Mach anymore. That said, the non endings of all the routes seriously hurt the game, and don't even get me started on how much of a trash fire Azure Gleam becomes at the end of Part 1.
Fair personally, I love fodlan and wouldn’t mind one more game in the world. Like a trilogy-type thing. Anymore than that, though and I feel like it would limit FE.
It would be nice for the game to get dlc though at this point yeah it’s looking unlikely 😅🥲 I still enjoyed the game and really elevates the world of 3H even more and agreed with all your points! Great video man and it’s nice to see face reveal!!

Yeah but three houses was an actual fire emblem game. If I wanted to play dynasty warriors I would go play that series instead.
