What is this weird & very wrong perception about England being arrogant?. Nobody in England thinks that they can win the world cup & nobody thinks that we will easily beat Colombia. The game is 50-50.
England have one key problem that bringing back the starters won't even solve. They have nice build up on their side of the half way line but don't have midfield players to get the ball into dangerous areas. They then end up going direct or looking for channel balls which are 50-50. If they win the second ball then they can play from there but it's going to be very hard. Ali and lingard aren't the players to fix that issue, funny enough the Sterling from Man City can help this but I don't see the same guy for England so I sense trouble, even against Colombia.
Group Winners should be allowed to choose whether they want to take their top place or take the second positions game in the knock out round. This would put an end to meaningless / daft games like this, and others. To come top in the group should ALWAYS give the best reward, and my 'choice' thing would give this.

Brazil seem to struggle to apply any pressure high up the pitch which allows for a lot of counter attacking opportunities. We already know Mexico can take advantage of a team that does this, and in all likelihood a De Bruyne, Hazard, Lukaku combo will create high quality chances on the counter too. I would still strongly favour a Brazil win with Willian and Neymar causing all sorts of problems getting in behind Belgium's wing-backs, but a Belgium win is possible. Mexico will need to be much more clinical than they have been so far if they are to beat Brazil, I can't see it happening, but it should be a good game.
I watched the friendly Belgium-Mexico a couple of months ago and Mexico really exploited the spaces Belgium left for them behind the wingbacks (although Belgium was playing a B defence) 3-4 times with Lozano. It ended in a 3-3 draw. Mexico did it against Germany and they certainly can do it again against Brazil. Not a team to be underestimated. Belgium will have troubles with Neymar and the likes due to the system being played, but I think that game will be decided by which team scores the most (as the philosophy of Martinez is to just score more goals than the opponent). It might result in a high scoring game with little difference (I hope ;) )

"Over all a really really well done job by England in this group stage" doesn't sound like jealousy to me. I personally don't think England will win this world cup, but it's a big improvement on their last few world cup appearances.
