    I was talking to a friend of mine a while ago and it hit me like...well...a haul truck that stuff I once considered "new" from the 2000s is now almost 20 years old and I often see it at scrapyards...oi

    Ha...air cleaners. I always thought those were headlights from seeing these things in pictures.
    Now that it's explained, the size of those come into scale especially when I look down and see the actual headlights in the grill.

    Awesome video, as always!! Great to see a big Liebherr haul truck walk around! I know that you never say exactly where these awesome machines are located, but I'm curious what state this bad boy resides in? I've never seen one in PA.

      This is one of those trucks! They were the only 3 252's that made it to the US

      @@PAmining I’d have swore diamond may had more than 3 but don’t count on my memory lol. We tried makin em look good where they were white and new..sat in 995 and woulda took a bite but couldn’t find disconnect cutoff where fire suppression went off that day and we came to spray that junk off engine n such..

    Looking at trucks of that size from a distance, I always think the air cleaners are headlights.

    Does anybody know what the two chains between the rear wheels are for? You can clearly see them from 10:29 onward.

    i realize that compared to road trucks which are long; these trucks are more wide

      Yes they are. It provides for optimum loading and target area for buckets
