- Knott’s Berry Farm is offering it's famous fried chicken dinners to go and we finally left the house to drive to Buena Park to go get it! Kitra has never tried Mrs. Knott's chicken dinner and let me tell you, it lived up the the hype! It is sooooo delicious! We ended up getting the 14-piece Mixed Chicken Meal Bucket which has: 2 sides of mashes potatoes, 1 side gravy, 1 side of whole kernel corn, 1/2 dozen biscuits with Boysenberry jam AND ONE WHOLE BOYSENBERRY PIE! drool

I unfortunately had to unsubscribe to several of my fav parks RUclipsrs because they decided to be irresponsible and have a lil meet up at Knottsberry disregarding all the rules. Hi! I live just south of S.F but know no one to travel to southern California with. My kids have flown the nest.
I went to get the Knott’s chicken dinner on Saturday, it was so impressively easy! The employees were organized and on their game. Thank you Knott’s for the great service and yummy food! 😋

I grew up going to Knott's Berry Farm. My parents wouldn't spend the money to eat in the theme parks so we always had a picnic outside the park. I've moved away now, 50 years later and watching you eat chicken was almost as good as knocking it off my bucket list.
Kitra is so vogue. She was rocking her pandemic Star Wars mask. 👍 I love the art room.

I made the official Disneyland recipe churro bites a week ago and they are UHhhhmazing (provided you follow the recipe to a "T").
It was only around 40 each way...for LA that is really good because normally traffic takes muuuuch longer than that :)
My husband and I are both HUGE BTTF fans and seeing that artwork made us both praise the TV. INCREDIBLE!

When I was a kid my family made 1 yearly trip to Anaheim usually over summer vacation... We would go up on a Friday night and stay at a hotel... Wake up and do Knott's Berry Farm and then grab a chicken dinner to go to eat back at the hotel... Wake up the next morning, have breakfast and pack up, then we hit Disneyland right at opening time! We would close out the park and then my Dad drove home with me sitting shotgun while my mother and sister slept in the back seat of the station wagon. I loved the drive home as well because back then they would play old radio shows on AM radio at night... "Who knows what evil lurks in the hearts of men? The Shadow knows!!! Those were some of the best memories of my childhood and why I LOVE Disneyland and Knott's to this day! Thanks for sharing your ordinary adventure that brought back some extraordinary memories!

Mrs. Knotts is so delicious and you are right, crispy on the outside and tender and juicy on the inside. Of course, a 5 out of 5 from our family too. The pies are worth every bite. Warm it up, drop on a scoop of ice cream and enjoy. Yum! Thanks for inspiring our family. Round trip from Dana Point just over and hour.

You guys should do more takeout vids. I loved this. Stuck on takeout ever since quarantine. I love that we get to see the outside here for a minute. I also had an idea and it’s kind of out there. At Droid Depot they should have silver and green R-2 and BB units. I don't mean combined but separate colors. A pink and also purple R-2 unit as well. Also more clear domes with the colors mentioned above.

Hi Kitra & Peter! Thank you so much for your Premium Content here on a RUclips! In response to the question about what other franchise should there be a theme park or land dedicated to... I would say it would have to be Star Trek. When Paramount ran their own theme parks we had The Star Trek Experience in Las Vegas! I miss that mini theme park that was at the former Las Vegas Hilton. It would be amazing if they could create a Full-Size theme park for the Star Trek Universe! I would not have imagined it ever happening on a massive scale, but after Disney created Star Wars Galaxies Edge, anything could be possible. ☺️. Take care, stay safe!

This is such a helpful video! I'm glad you showed the process of simply going to pick up the food, curbside, and then going back home, because that will be what a lot of people choose to do right now -- they will drive to Knott's, pick up the food and then drive right back home. I'm sure you are aware of some of the other (very controversial!) videos floating around from some of the popular RUclips content creators you know from Disneyland, and those are helpful too in that they show the process of walking into the restaurant to pick up the chicken, standing on the social distancing marks, as well as shopping in the bakery and the Berry Market for Knott's goodies, packing up their own items, etc. *But* I was still really curious to see what the setup was, and how long it took, for someone to simply drive up, take the chicken and go without shopping or hanging out, and I'm glad your video captured it!!
I assume that certain parts of Downtown Disney will open soon too, in a limited capacity (probably the non-Disney-owned shops and restaurants first), and it will be interesting to see how that plays out, and if they set it up to where people have to stay in their cars to pick up food and leave, as you did with the Knott's chicken, or if guests have to actually walk up to the restaurant and pick it up that way, or both.
if you live in West Hollywood, then I am not far away from you at all. And I agree -- when you try to head to Orange County in the middle of a peak traffic period, it can take a long, long time. I haven't been to Knott's in years, but whenever I go to Disneyland in the early, early morning (like just before sunrise), it takes about 40-45 minutes to get down there because the traffic is mostly non-existent. However, one time a friend and I drove to Anaheim at around 4:30 p.m on a Friday right before Christmas, and you can only imagine how long it took to get down there from this area!
