Lived in SoCal 46 years before relocating to help out my parents 12 years ago. I love Knott's... I know you enjoy Halloween Horror Nights at Universal BUT you should REALLY try and revisit Knott's this year for the 50th Anniversary of Knott's Scary Farm's Halloween Haunt. It is the original, it is the BEST! I would encourage you to do to Pre-Scare Boofet and the Fright Lane Pass. My opinion it BLOWS Universal away!!! I had been to all of them until I moved away and have been back to visit 3 times since. I am flying out again this year to attend the 50th!

I’ve lived in So Cal my entire life and grew up going to Knott’s Berry Farm. So happy to see you’re first visit!!!
Another Walt Disney/ Walter Knott fun fact: Walt Disney was visiting Knott’s Berry Farm, Pre-Disneyland and really like the Calico Mine ride line queue because the queue was “hidden” or incorporated in the theme of the attraction. So, Walt Disney used that idea for his line queues at Disneyland.
Knott’s Scary Farm is a must do. If you enjoy Horror Nights at Universal, I think you will enjoy Scary Farm.
FYI… the original Calico Ghost Town is still standing and is a tourist attraction out in the desert.
    Keep up the fun work.

I LOVE this theme! We get to see in "real" time seasoned theme park goers navigate a new theme park. This is more like how the rest of us would visit a park, but now we can see it with your know how. I don't know if any of that makes sense...but I applaud this video.

Molly, Alan, and Max! I have posted before about being a mental health therapist and how your videos have been a great part of my self-care routine, but I wanted to share further that recently I've been going through a lot of my own personal pain of grief and loss and relationship changes as well as increased anxiety and depression. Your videos and especially this one today continue to provide comfort, humor, community, connection, etc as I go through a difficult time. Yes I go to my own therapy and have other supports but I keep coming back to you guys consistently for a boost in the midst of so much and I just can't tell you how much your channel, your realness, in your all's friendship together means to me! You three are such a gem ❤

Its so freaking adorable seeing people who dont know about KBF experience it for the 1st time. Knotts is our 2nd home. Knotts scary farm, bosenberry fest, ghost town days, and merry farm cant be beat..not even by disney and yes i said what i meant! You need to come back during one of these amazing events to truly see just how epic a place it is. KBF is a REAL "THEME" park. The entertainment and food is on a level all it's own. The hotel was also refurbished just recently and is wonderful. Yall need to go back.

When I clicked on this video, I could NOT wait for your reaction to the Mine Co ride. Those animatronics are hilarious, I mean my daughter ( 18 yrs old ) thought she was in a fever dream. Are they neglected? I mean, you couldn't try to make them look any worse...lol, zombies for sure and the heavy fog...its unreal. You get a real mix with this theme park!

I visited Knotts many many times way back in 75-88 and it was so much different back before all of the rollercoasters took over, before camp snoopy was even there. My favorite rides were the calico mine train, the log ride and the stagecoach. I love every inch of the ghost town and we used to get a root beer in the calico saloon and sit upstairs and enjoyed a can-can show on the stage below us. Such great memories from a time long ago. Nothing beats Mrs Knotts chicken and boysenberry pie! Ty for taking us with you 😊 I loved your mam horseshoe 🥰

Growing up in California Knotts, Disneyland and Six Flags were always places I went. Knotts & Disneyland are my two favorite places to go. Usually when I come back home to California I will go to Disneyland and Knotts since they are not too far from each other. Over the years it has changed.. Knotts scary farm is so much fun and a must see!
I had the potatoes as well and thought they were pretty decent. I do think sour cream would have been nice too. My son had the lemonade, but I had the Boysenberry margarita - and OH MY that was good.
Hang time was a pretty rad rollercoaster. The view is incredible. Pony Express is quick, but pretty neat. and the best ride there will always be Ghost Rider!!!!

Since you mention going to Knott's Scary Farm for their Halloween event, the front of line pass for the rides and mazes is a good value and time saver imo as well. Cedar Fair parks have a platinum season pass that gives you unlimited access to all of their parks. A lot of them have water parks attached and included in your admission (probably not a selling point for Molly, though). The passes are less than $300, so definitely worth it if you plan to go to more than one park. Maybe you guys should consider a road trip to visit some of the other parks. They vary in quality, but they are all fun.
And based on your reaction to the blacksmith, you should definitely check out Dollywood. Not only do they have great rides and theming, but the artisans there are amazing.

Am a California Native. Been to Knott's once a month when I was little (1960). I remember their Steak House (think it's a Mexican restaurant now?), my older brothers and I always had Boysenberry Sherbert after dinner. The Steak restaurant was decorated in a Native American Decor. Had so much fun in the Ghost Town, the two churches, 21 Mission row, the Pony Express (Wells Fargo), log ride and mine ride. We switched off eating at Mrs. Knott's every other time. If you believe this ... the 91 Frwy was not even built yet. All side streets from Torrance (South Bay Area) to Buena Park. Happy Memories ... Oh, your Berry jokes sound kind of bad. Is like listening to my older brother. EEK!

Hi Molly, another great video! Suggestion for a new place to explore:
King Richard’s Faire up here in New England. (Location: Carver, MA.) It’s a fully-immersive renaissance faire (like permanent structures set in the woods.) It’s only open for a short time on weekends between Labor Day and Halloween, but you COULD try to couple it with a trip up to Lincoln, NH in mid-September for the Scottish Highland Games. (The locations are about a 3-4 hour drive apart.) If you’ve never been to New England in the fall, it’s as spectacular as it sounds. And I’d be happy to help you obtain more information if this appeals to you. Cheers! ❤

Hershey's Chocolate World is celebrating 100 years and Hersheypark has a new hybrid roller coaster opening up in 2 weeks (Wildcats Revenge). You could spend days in Hershey. The park is not only an amusement park but also has a zoo and water park all included in your admission. Knoebels is a FREE park. Free to park and free admission. Knott's has still changed quite a bit from the last time I was there in 2000; miss the box car derby. That was the coolest ride. They had to escort me out the back way because I became paralyzed with fear 5 minutes into Knott's Scary Farm, so good luck with that! Ha!

The original Knott’s Beary Tales ride was a gem in the style of Winnie the Pooh ride. It was designed by legendary Imagineer Rolly Crump (after he retired from Disney). Years later it was turned into a Dinosaur ride (during the height of Jurassic Park popularity), then a shooter undersea ride, and now this. I agree, it’s not great especially since I remember the original.

Been looking forward to this video as a big Knotts fan! Hopefully next time you guys make it out, X-celerator and Montezooma's will be open again, as they are some of the best in the park. Also even though you hate water rides, the timber mountain log ride is truly an amazing attraction, along with calico mine, dripping with theme park history, would definitely consider checking it out in the future.

I'm so excited that you visited Knott's Berry Farm! It was really fun to see you explore the park and hear your commentary since it was the first time for all three of you! My family and I have had season passes to Knott's for the last couple of years, we especially enjoy the food with our meal plan and sometimes go just to eat because ride lines can be quite long. Next time you should go chat with Sad-Eye Joe who is in jail in Ghost Town and ask him why he's in jail.

I do believe the oldest operating Theme park /Amusement park in the U.S is Lake Compounce in Bristol,Conn , opening in 1846 . That said , I highly suggest The MAM club team checkout the east coast amusement/theme parks if you venture up in the area, Great content as always & hope to get out here myself one day

I disagree. Cedar Fair has taken good POVs and Mammoth inserted those clips here. It is better to stick to a clear policy of no phones and devices on rides to keep people safe.

Knotts Berry isn't the oldest theme park in the US. I'm not sure if it's the oldest but Kennywood in Pittsburgh is 125 years old, so older than Knotts.

There's quite a few amusement parks older than Knott's Berry, but Knott's crowns itself the oldest "theme" park while they did start the actual concept of a "theme" park they didn't fulfill that either. Most actual theme parks sprouted in the 50s and 60s. I'm from CT, Lake Compounce is older than Knott's by about 50 years, but I wouldn't consider it a theme park like Magic Kingdom or Universal. It is an amusement park, no actual theme in the park.
