I'm not a brony by any means. Know nothing about the show or any fanfictions, but Twitter led me to this series of songs, and they are produced better than most "professional" songs you hear mainstream. These songs are absolute fire and I enjoy them even not being a brony. Keep it up!
Same here! I know only a sparse amount about the show and really don't enjoy the more childish parts of it. However, this is where the community for it shines, these guys make good music and stories.

Literally everytime I hear this song, the story behind it gets clearer and more interesting. Stabilize pt 1 isn't my favorite music style, pt 3 is catchy but not so deep, and this one just blows away the competition for me. Amazing story and amazing lyrics. Actually a big part of why I like this one so much more than part 3 is because part 3 doesn't make very much use of the conflict between Sweetie Bot's programming and her own will. This one complements the ideas behind the first one extremely well, showing that even years after she had to fight past her malicious programming, she's still confused and shocked that she's not what she thought she was. This struggle makes her a very interesting and very well developed character. Part 3 doesn't do that very well, though part 3 implies a returning of the malicious programming that has been at odds with her own will in part 1, so it's probably meant to be that way - part 3 has a strong theme of if: then: and other such programming language style things.
I disagree with the thoughts on part 3 - That one's my favorite because I imagine it entirely as an argument between the infiltrator personality and the combat personality. The fight aspect is just screaming to let it use force, whereas she isn't willing to call her old friends her enemies. It's completely her machine side saying "Look, if I did what they're doing, how could I not be your enemy?! Come on!" I do agree that part 2 is phenomenal though and I have trouble deciding which of those two I like more.
@@CordialH Taking another listen to part 3, you are right - I can't quite understand the story that's going on there, but I can tell there's something much deeper than I originally thought. However I still stand by what I said about this one being by far my favorite and in my opinion it's still by far the deepest. Even now, years later, the story just gets more interesting each time I listen to it (I listened to it 2 times today and each time I've gotten a little more out of the story). For example at 3:26 I always heard both parts of the lyrics as the internal struggle of Sweetie Bot as her self defense systems started up. But on my second listen today it clicked that the lyrics on the top are from the perspective of Applebloom and Scootaloo, and when I think of it that way it makes a LOT more sense.
I didn't even watch MLP at all and somehow accidentally stumbled on this channel and it got me interested and now I love the show solely based off of these songs so thanks for giving me a new favorite show Prince!

Yo, this is my favorite song by you by far! Not only does it rock, but I love the narrative and it paints such an amazing picture. I like to think that Sweetie’s recurring statement “Take your best shot” speaks to 2 of her developments in this song. First being her existential dread of realizing she’s a robot and her uncertainty of if she is a real person, and if she’s not then she thinks she doesn’t matter as much and would be better off dead. Second is, if she does have any reason to live, it’s her friends that love her. And so if her friends don’t love her, she’s fine with them just ending her because she has nothing to go back to anyway. Such a cool image and dynamic you painted with this song, man 👍👍👍🔥👌

I so adore the moment from 3:26 to 3:50 when the top lines say the Appleblum sentences. Like imagine yourself in her place when you would be told to eliminate your best friend or girlfriend whom you have known for a long time. Also in these lines, I think Appleblum has doubts about whether to shoot her in the Sweetbot or not. In one, she understands that she is a robot and can be dangerous for the rest of the ponies, and in the other, this is her best friend with whom they spent a lot of time and adventures. Scootaloo and Appleblum would hardly have gone to eliminate the Sweetbot. Most likely, Celestia or the six (since they know this case anyway) asked to sneak up and eliminate Sweetbot since they are her best friends and rather trusts them more than the rest of the ponies. Perhaps I may be wrong at this moment.

I love the first song and the third song, but there's so much raw emotion in this song which is insane!❤🔥 and to me personally my favorite lyrics Are the last part of the song. where to me, my interpretation of it, is she has sustained so heavy damage properly due to being shot by her friends, that she forgets what's going on and who she is and who they are. I really resonate with that part of the song because I have memory loss, I have sustained Brain Damage due to private affairs, but I have lost almost 15 years of memories due to circumstances so I really feel it every time I hear those lyrics and love this song for it❤🩹

I was once a brony, but left due to pressure from family because I was raised a member of the LDS church (so basically, shamed out of it), but this song. This. Song. Right here. Changed it all. Ever since I left my former religious beliefs, I coincidentally came across other genres of music (and subsequently falling in love with them), enough to pay monthly for Spotify premium, but after listening to a ton of NOVA, Sabato, Smash into Pieces, Daft Punk, DAGames, CG5, and others, THIS came on. I almost immediately loved it and went "wow, what was the name for this one?!" And boom, I saw the album image. I'm not sure if I would still call myself one, but considering how I don't really have much negativity against the show (hell, I'm not joking when I used to sit and watch it with them when waiting for my turn on the computer), I might reconsider at least diving into the world of fan music for the show. Yeah, I already know about the Eurobeat Brony and TLT versions of Discord, but this seems like a rabbit hole that I'll loving diving into. Any of you guys have any good suggestions to go on from here? I don't really dig most country and rap, but otherwise, I'm all ears

What I realized when I started reading Sweetie Bot story’s is that if I continue reading at the rate I’m going, Im gonna have to work harder to find story’s that I’m able to enjoy reading.

In one, she understands that she is a robot and can be dangerous for the rest of the ponies, and in the other, this is her best friend with whom they spent a lot of time and adventures. Scootaloo and Appleblum would hardly have gone to eliminate the Sweetbot. Most likely, Celestia or the six (since they know this case anyway) asked to sneak up and eliminate Sweetbot since they are her best friends and rather trusts them more than the rest of the ponies. Perhaps I may be wrong at this moment.

where to me, my interpretation of it, is she has sustained so heavy damage properly due to being shot by her friends, that she forgets what's going on and who she is and who they are.
I really resonate with that part of the song because I have memory loss, I have sustained Brain Damage due to private affairs, but I have lost almost 15 years of memories due to circumstances so I really feel it every time I hear those lyrics and love this song for it❤🩹

I was once a brony, but left due to pressure from family because I was raised a member of the LDS church (so basically, shamed out of it), but this song. This. Song. Right here. Changed it all.
Ever since I left my former religious beliefs, I coincidentally came across other genres of music (and subsequently falling in love with them), enough to pay monthly for Spotify premium, but after listening to a ton of NOVA, Sabato, Smash into Pieces, Daft Punk, DAGames, CG5, and others, THIS came on. I almost immediately loved it and went "wow, what was the name for this one?!" And boom, I saw the album image.
I'm not sure if I would still call myself one, but considering how I don't really have much negativity against the show (hell, I'm not joking when I used to sit and watch it with them when waiting for my turn on the computer), I might reconsider at least diving into the world of fan music for the show. Yeah, I already know about the Eurobeat Brony and TLT versions of Discord, but this seems like a rabbit hole that I'll loving diving into.
Any of you guys have any good suggestions to go on from here? I don't really dig most country and rap, but otherwise, I'm all ears
