Regardless intentional or not, rules are rules to maintain the fairness of the game, being pro players and maintaining professional behaviour is not a rule but a basic requirement.
I am not familiar regarding the rules written in the rule book, but if the respected PH coach from SRG brings up this topic, I believe investigations of upholding such actions should be at least discussed.
Great move and decision by Moonton itself. They should double check some mistakes and never, ever let that happen once again.

On top of surrendering, SYS did not even call the ref within the 3 second dispute. If you watch the stream back, they raised their hand at 44s mark of SRG pick. Meaning it's over past the 3s rule. Rules are rules. And rules need to be upheld for the fairness and integrity of the competition. The marshall who allowed the remake and SYS should be reprimanded for unprofessional conducts.

Agreed, if the referee that supervised the SRG player that stood behind them stopped the player from picking a hero, then this 6.4.4 rule can be used or otherwise they should redraft every hero all over again to make it fair.

I think that is it means the last pick will be considered when all enemy hero has been picked. So if SYS informed on their pick before SRG last pick, their last pick may be different. But the re draft only SYS get to change their pick, Srg had to play the same draft they had. This actually made SRG did not get the 'last pick' advantage over SYs, as that game it was their turn to get 'last pick'. Even who picks/bans first will determine the whole draft and gamplay, drafting is like 40% in winning the match

According to the msc post, Sys's last two picks weren't intended, which caused the team to immediately reported this to the referee. So I don't think they waited for the last hero of SRG to be picked. Regardless, I do think Sys should be punished soon to deter this from happening again

if you rewatch it, the time for choosing hero has expired.. it was auto pick not a human error nor bug .. they just forgot to picked heroes in time.. so the organizers should not redraft and continue the game instead.. it was organizers fault to do allow the request of redrafting while they have the power to impose continuation.. they just didn't investigate the situation thoroughly.. they should look at the time for pickinf but it seem they didn't look at it.

That's definitely cheating, if that's a bug, other teams would have experienced that since it's a game issue. Coach Arcadia is right, their players are affected by that long wait time, that could easily die down a motivation. If there's no video, SYS needs to release their voice communication during the draft at least and clear their name because it's going to look really bad for them if they can't defend themselves.
Personally, this was definitely not a bug/game issue but an exploitation of a tournament rule.

I counted and recounted the timer four times with 3 different brand stopwatches and the stream's timer. All timers are showing more than 3 seconds. I don't know if my time standard used is different with the one used as that rules. Let's just wait the official investigation results

I think that's human error not a bug. It seems like auto pick since they pick at 0 sec or might have miss clicking the hero. Unless there's a small chance they already hanging the hero(whatever the hero) but at 0 sec it suddenly change to lapu2. Well if SRG admit that happened or draft recorded there's high chance for a bug where for example from hanging edith suddenly at 0 seconds change to lapu2.However if there's no sign of hanging hero until 0 sec then game over for sys. Regarding procedure about rematch before SRG pick(kagura) . No comment bcuz sys did inform and there's arguments between them and admin. They(admin there) might not be too experience or professional with handling the situation . They might as well inform to srg side ASAP as well decide faster(whether to redraft or not) before the kagura pick since srg picked kagura at 0 second too(they might have wait for the last second just to make sure there's no further announcement from the other side).So the decisions from the referee (rough guess)might be to proceed the game according to the rules. However it was informed in the game that SYS suddenly surrender and asked for redraft without telling the ref there?? (question mark??). Just an opinion btw. No hard feelings for both teams since this is a tournament with huge amount of prize pool. So.... Justice need for a fair play. 1 point is a lot to help them from getting eliminated from the group stage. _(:з」∠)_

Even if its a mistake or bug. Rule 6.4.4 cannot be used here because SRG already pick their hero. So instead of redraft with same hero selection, the game should be full redraft for both team.
the "conceding the game action" without asking for permission first was enough to proof that SYS are breaking rules. that action alone can book them a penalty.
i think this is the referee's fault because when i rewatched the vod, they called the marshall immediately after their error. the marshall should paused the match immediately but they let the other team continue their picks. the other stupid shit that they made though is forfeiting the game without informing the marshall

I think at fault really is how the organization handled the situation taking so long. You have cameras on the players, referees on guard to at least check the drafting in person (provide eye testimony). In other regions example PH there is already a decision to stick the pick and no repicking. Lastly SYS saying it is a bug, they should at least show evidence that or tell the truth (assuming it was not a bug)Upholding integrity and fairness of the game should be maintained.

There’s no such thing about redraft twice! First draft was a miscommunication from referees said it was a ping test as you alr saw srg banned randoms heroes not in meta. Then referees came back said that was an official match turn out they have to redraft again. Second draft was a mistake or bug. For penalty, 1k usd fine to sys no point deduction and no disqualified for surrender without giving referees notice. Eventho it’s not in official announcement yet but y’all gonna see

Now that this happened, i think SYS should be penalize to have shorter time on pick and ban phase for the whole group stage meaning the last 3 matches that they will have will be shorter time on pick and ban. Plus dont allow all teams to pause just to change hand warmer in the middle of the game regardless if there's ongoing team clash or laning phase.
i had this issue multiple times and even my friends when they lock hero it automatically changes into some other heroes they frequently use. did anyone else have this issue?

You didn't lock the hero that's why it changed. The most recent hero that you used will be picked if you didn't lock the hero before the time expires.

The marshalls are incompetent i saw this live (watch the livestream again) after they pick lapu they immediately call the marshal but they were too slow to make a decision that's why the kagura pick still came through even after sys reported it. For sys surrendering the game without the marshall approval we still need more info for that so we can't judge sys for now.

It's not a bug. If you only show a hero but didn't lock it before the time expires. Your most recent hero that you use will be picked instead.

auto pick when the timer run out. try on pub game. you will automatically get heroes if you hadn't pick anything within the time limits. so its not BUG.
