Fellows- We all care about you. That dust can be so dangerous both to your lungs, and to your eyes. You should all wear eye protection and proper respirators or masks. It's a splendid project. We want you around to enjoy it- you've worked so hard.
I agree. I'm amazed that they don't wear protection. There is no telling what organisms are in that old dust and dirt. Coming from a nursing background.
I agree also. I've thought of that so many times I've seen them without masks in a dangerously dusty atmosphere. There could be 300 year old mold or whatever spores in all that dust!
You might consider a large commercial round fan that you could place up high in the windows sucking out all the dust as you are working. It would help greatly.
I like how you take time to measure the amount of rubble you haul out after demolition. I think it not only helps us understand the size of the job but also allows you guys to get a bit of a break from some tedious tasks. Well done. Stay cool and hydrated!
Great job moving all that rubble - that surely was a lot of rock! Did you remember to measure the distance between the beam & floor/ceiling to see how much it moved?
I never would have thought they would put that much rock and dirt up there like that. Amazing really, removing it was the easy part. I can only imagine how many people and the long hard hours it took to put it there in the first place. GREAT work Gentlemen and have a wonderful day
Love the estimating method! Very clever. It’s so interesting to see those old building techniques - and also so wonderful to see this beautiful old building be updated to preserve its character!
What an amazing job! It is so fascinating to see the layers of history of the convent. Thank you Billy, Mick, Simon, Rick, and Yanis for all your hard work and efforts! You truly all are amazing. Thank you for making my family's day and for always bringing a smile to our face. Praying that the heat won't be too much and that the Lord will continue to bless, prosper, and favor all that you do. Be safe and take care!!! Know that you all are in our prayers every day🙏😇🇺🇸 "May the Lord bless you and keep you, may He show you favor and may He watch over you and give you His peace"🕊
Reading criticism is alright, as long as you don't take it personally. If you do, the bullies have won. When someone says something horrible to me, I'm like, "Oh, that poor person." How miserable must they be that they feel comfortable enough to lash out at me and say something horrible to me? So if I am a gift for them to be able to say that, so they feel a little less pressure in their life and they feel like they've gotten some nastiness out, okay, 'cause that’s alright. I didn’t receive that. It's not for me. It's not for you. Don't receive it. It doesn't belong to you. What someone else says or thinks about you-the way they look at you-don't receive it. If it's negative, it doesn't belong to you. If it's positive, take it in.
Weighing the rumble, the amount was amazing. Very nice of you Billy, to have everyone do light work because of the heat. Yes its toasty here Ontario too. Till tomorrow say cool.
You have alot of wood and stone, and dirt. Have you considered turning some into raised garden beds? Would be so easy to use your equipment to fill the dirt in. Also the rotten wood can be in the bottom to help with moisture, and just let it break down for the plants.
Hi Billy and the gang ! Here at our TIP or Déchèterie in Quebec, they have a vehicule scale at the entrance. Therefore, they tell you exactly how much you dropped off. Aren't there any in France. If not, let me know. I might start a business selling vehicule scales in France ;-) LOL Cheers
You’ve been doing some pretty tedious jobs the last couple days - thank goodness no one tried to do it alone! The old expression is “Many hands make light work.” Even with many hands, this isn’t light work, but at least it’s not dragging on for weeks. Stay hydrated!
O, please wear masks. I know it's hot but that dust in your lungs can be horrible. Also, there are breeze making devices you can wear around your neck to help with the heat. The air can also help with the dust. The device isn't air conditioning just a nice breeze.
I agree, I know people that worked in dusty environments and later on suffered from lung disease, dust on lungs. Keep your masks on guys, better to be safe than sorry. Helmets too. Wouldn't get away with it in the UK. Safety and health always first.
A ton of grain on a pallet is about 4ft x 3.5ft x 4 ft high. It also has an empty square in the center. A 50 lb bag of sand is half the size of the grain bags and your stuff is dirt. Not as heavy as sand but I'm guessing somewhere between the sand and the grain. So maybe a ton.
I thought at first it kind of a waste of time to count the wheelbarrows full of stuff. However, it gave you a bit of fun even though it was hot and hard work. If I liked beer I'd have one with you but, cheers anyway! 🍻

And dangerous building materials
Don't ignore the head gear as well - some of that was heavy.
I agree! Take No chances with your health.

Sensible suggestion

I think it calculated to about 2200 pounds, give or take.
Crikey that was one heavy ceiling , Well done team
Billy, this team is superb. Work so well together. You must be so proud of your Dad, who at his age, is amazing. ❤❤❤
Your dad is amazing for 80 yrs old!
Stay hydrated. You fellows work hard 💕🙏
All the people on this project are interesting characters and they are all so different. I love watching them all. Thank you.
4:30 Rick standing back there by the door like an armed guard or something lol
At first I thought he was a prop! … then he moved! 🤣 Love these guys!
I’m glad we got to see some closeup footage of him. I was wondering where he had gone.
Masks for you wonderful guys, think of your lungs❤
Googly eyes just crack me up... doesn't matter where or what size, they're just funny. 😅
The Roses are so beautiful this year!! All into the kitchen for a cool down in the AC with a pint. Well earned.

It's a necessary mess! Be only temporary! Drink lots of water guys!
I was choking as you guys were shoveling that stuff lol
Excellent episode! Thank you all! Be well, stay safe all. 🎉❤🥰😊👍
Love how Yannis says Crack on 🤗🌹❤️
What a difference made Wow ...Well done in this heat boy's 🥵 ❤
I'm really impressed by how much abuse that tile can take. Talk about your institutional flooring solutions!
One of the earlier videos Billy tells us what flooring he's considering. Billy is putting in a different floor later.
Great job moving all that rubble - that surely was a lot of rock! Did you remember to measure the distance between the beam & floor/ceiling to see how much it moved?
Love those cobbled floors ❤
The Gangs All Here!

I really like the colour of Rick’s t-shirt. Too bad he had to get it dirty. Great job guys.
A cold beer would go down real easy after that dusty hot work! Crack on when it cools off!🇨🇦❤️
Never doubt Rick. He knows weights. Just look at him. 😀
These are grown men they don't need people telling them what to do. 👍👍❤️
Srsly!!!
Agree
Unless it's their mothers. Then they have to listen. I think it's a universal law.

I find it very interesting as you dismantle this building, to see how they built things and the materials they used.

The old beams are breathing a sigh of relief 😊
Wow, that’s really amazing! All that dirt and rocks on the beams. So glad you guys took the afternoon off for light work, it looked hot! 🍺👍
Oh that music, red roses, stones and steeple...does it get any better...96 F across the pond in Florida...CHEERS...!
You do a GREAT job with the videos, Billy! I love the music , discussions, pacing and length of your videos.
I’d forgotten about all that in the kitchen. Presumably another load above the beam between library and dining room
Well done guys that looks like hard work 🎉
Yep, that was a mess.
But you cleaned it up nicely.
Great work, great teamwork. You need a well earnt cold beer!! Cold here in New Zealand.
Every time I watch this show I say what a beautiful old building with so much history! You all have worked so hard to bring it back to life!❤❤❤
Why not get some large exhaust fans to blow the dust out?
Gosh what a team, Simon, Yanis and your dad make Billy ❤ they are working so hard for you 🫶🏻
Eye protection gentlemen! Safety glasses, please!
It’s hot where I am too. Praying for rain and a break from the heat for everyone.
Such diligent work product!! Bravo - each of you!!
With all the scrap material headed into the garden you'll need taller fencing.
we’ve separated all the stone as we will need lots when we start doing the garden and the mud is all going in the low areas.
I was almost choking on the dust - and I'm in Australia, ffs!
Hard yakka, lads!
Welcome back, Simon. It's so nice to see the guys in shorts, looking casusal. Dad included. 😊 Thanks for another terrific video. Crack on !
You should have masks on.
Love the googly eyes 👀 on Big Blue! Makes me laugh 🤣💙
1 .1 & 3/4 made me chuckle .❤
Then when his guess was was so close...😏😎

Weighing the rumble, the amount was amazing. Very nice of you Billy, to have everyone do light work because of the heat. Yes its toasty here Ontario too. Till tomorrow say cool.
Safety first Billy accident waiting to happen. You only have one pair of eyes and lungs. Helmets wouldn't go a miss either!
No, there’s a helmet tax in France don’t you know 😅😂🤣

The olive tree looks great. I was happy to see it.
Fantastic job well done🤗 please guys wear eye protection and masks when dealing with so much dust🇦🇺🙏
RICK WINS!
Sun's out, shorts on 😁
I enjoy the demo work from afar. All that dust would choke me. Thank you for the video.
Over 40C here in Memphis today... I feel sorry for the people who have to work out in it.Stay safe
For all us Aussies, you have to tell us these 'hot' daily high temps (temperatures).
Maybe some neck AC units would help keep you guys cool and repel dust?
hydrate plz - heat rises. when feel a breeze fan keep it on grd level.

Never been so early. Can’t wait to see the mess!
Same!!! 3:37am in Sydney Australia 😂
I love seeing the beautiful olive tree. Thanks.
It’s looking so much better being outside!
Come on guys, I know it's hot, but your lungs don't need to be breathing that dust and crap.
Crack on!
some excellent shots, Billy!
You’ve been doing some pretty tedious jobs the last couple days - thank goodness no one tried to do it alone! The old expression is “Many hands make light work.” Even with many hands, this isn’t light work, but at least it’s not dragging on for weeks. Stay hydrated!
Oh my goodness the thumbnail!
I can’t believe you weren’t wearing masks!
I miss the voice recorder too.😢

It always surprises me that they used to use mud/dirt for insolation back then, but I guess they had to use what was available.
You know the old song? "You load 15 tons, and what do you get? Another day older and deeper in debt!"
Crack on guys!
Wow, I didn't know "16 tons" made it over to Europe! That was a big song when we were kids.....lol Yes I'm old! 🎉
@@sunnyndelaware6159Well it made it to the U.K. not sure about Europe 😉
Tennessee Ernie Ford.
Geoff castalluci has a great cover of "16 tons" here on RUclips
Tennessee Ernie Ford!! 🎶
Eye Protection !
Masks/ Respirators !!
I know you all have them …. 😱🙏
Really hard, hot work there. Hope you got your beers. 😃
You need masks! Love seeing the transformation.
Need to have a Stella run to the pub!!!
As a mother and Grandma , i have to say safety first boys, please. 😊🏴
I agree, I know people that worked in dusty environments and later on suffered from lung disease, dust on lungs. Keep your masks on guys, better to be safe than sorry. Helmets too. Wouldn't get away with it in the UK. Safety and health always first.
Go Team. Keep cool!
Please, protect your lungs….. 👍
You have make a mess before the full renovation is done and the end product is worth the mess involved in renovating a room .
Wow that was a lot of rubble! 😁🇺🇸
Mama said!!! 😮
y'all need safety glasses looking up at that mess! Lordy!!
I love yanis!!😊
Great job guys❤
Great job!
Masks! Masks! Masks!!!! 😷

Who needs a gym work out when you are moving a ton of dirt😊!!
I thought at first it kind of a waste of time to count the wheelbarrows full of stuff. However, it gave you a bit of fun even though it was hot and hard work. If I liked beer I'd have one with you but, cheers anyway! 🍻
Billy, the title is the understatement of the year😂😂 Yes, you sure did make a mess, but I know you and the wonderful team will clean everything up!!❤
You really need masks or respirators, breathing all that nasty dust.
There they go again, men with no masks!
I could see all the dust all the way in Australia lol.
I could see it in Western Canada!!😅
Todays end pose by Simon and Yanis is hot - 6/10😊
So what does Rick win for being the closest?
What happened with the unexplained noises and camera footage results?
