Behind every "[Weapon] is Beautiful" video I know there's probably lots of lots of hours of struggling, practicing, and learning, and everyone should remember that! I respect it.
While I do agree, bow is different. Out of all the weapons, bow is definitely not for everyone.

it surely takes a lot of knowledge tu pull out these stunts but as I said, these are stunts, set up and recorded just to look cool, it's very different from an actual run difficulty wise.
that said, I am a big fan of these videos myself.

Waiting for you to make more of these vids using different weapons, it really show the "peak performance" when used correctly no matter what the type. Really put down the "this weapon is bad/this weapon is best" perspective because essentially every weapon is deadly and can be fun to use.

Words are not enough to describe just how insanely fluid you are with this weapon and every other, you are incredible! Seriously I can't even fathom how much time you must have spent mastering all the timings, dodge timings, aim timings, between each weapon and each monster. That is some serious skill and I wish i had even a tenth the level of skill you have!

Most impressive! I love the bow, I just have trouble assessing whether or not I'm doing well with it, if that makes any sense.
i find it funny how out of all the weapons designed to go up into a monster's face and just straight up brawl with them, dodgebolt makes bow, the ranged weapon, one of the best at pulling it off
wirebugs with bow is just amazing. jump art is the sickest thing i've used! also, dodgebolt switch skill is just so good.
This makes me to swap from switch axe to bow... Awesome showcase!

i consider myself decent with a bow but seeing videos like these shows me i have a lot left to improve on haha. gj on the video it's easily the best bow video i've seen in a long while. Do you actually play with the UI off to recored these ? Cause i feel that could be a an added challenge in itself.

My god, beautiful. I replayed Lucent Narga several times because man, that's somethin on a whole new level.
I was always running pierce bow, couldn't convince myself to go rapid/spread. I don't see yo using evade extender or redirection, but definitely dodgebolt as switch skill. Are you using evade window as well? Is it tooo much to ask if you have any specific skill included in build?

I don't use redirection but I always have evade extender 2 or 3. And yes I use evade windows
I prefer using spread in general because it's a bit more visual. I think the only time I've used pierce in this video was against Valstrax
lucent narga arms are meta for dodge bolt bow rn and they have 3 evade window as a nice bonus if you feel like you need it

Really inspired me to play bow again and quickly wanted to ask, what are your camera settings for aiming, assuming you're using a controller.
I play with a controller for melee weapons, but I use mouse and keyboards for ranged

Basically Stamina management (stamina surge, constitution) + offensive skills (attack boost,wex, etc..)

I used to main bow back in the older games but in rise its so much harder for some reason. Everything one shots me and if I build for survivability I might as well be throwing marshmallows at the monster. Breaks my heart I cant play like this lol
you'd be surprised, bow is so much higher in dps than the melee weapons you can actually get away with getting defense and still do a respectable amount of damage. that said, this video does show beautiful bowplay, i'm not anywhere near this good either :p

Still a bow main from mhfu-mhr. However i use HBG more than bow in 5th gen because it is exhausting to play bow. Positioning, dodge, dodge-charging, aim, and combo there are too much to consider to play bow at highest level. BG on the other hand are just pew-pew-pew, perfect for casual play
what switch skills do you use? I feel like my switch skill loadouts with bow are really confused and scattered
I usually change my switch skills a lot for these videos since the goal is to showcase most of the weapon
But keep Dodgebolt it's the most important

Maybe around 5 times to get the timing correctly then I could almost always touch it but then maybe 5-10 additional more times to get an actual stagger ahah

That the... I stopped playing Rise quite early because of the counters that came out on each weapon and the game just got too one-sided. I wasn't feeling anything against the roaster.

Yeah I've been playing totally without HUD since I've started my RUclips.
The only moments I display the HUD is when there are new content or when I'm in a "discovering" phase

Could you share your (basic build) I just switched to bow. But I am struggling a little. Only MR 30 at the moment and can't do 10000 rerolls for perfect gear (yet), what do you recommend.
I am one of those who always change their set to adapt the most to the matchup but a good build to start with would be :

Is the USJ Bow you are using a Mod, because as far as I know there is no way to have that layered via Ingame system yet as there is no Master Rank version. Or are you actually using a High Rank weapon in those clips?

the amount of hours to learn every monster attack is insane, i use bow with a basic build, still dont have strife available so i have to wait for stamina before attacking too much, and always dodge attack base on reaction time but ofc i fail sometimes due to miss or to attack delay, wish i can do this eventually, learn the attacks or just improve my reaction time for some attacks and learn the delay of some attacks
What dodge switch skill were you using? Is it just the sidestep or the dodgebolt? Because I don't recall the bow having a counter-dodge that sounded like Shrouded Vault from Dual Blades.

I have a question! Do you prefer spread or rapid bows in combination with dodgebolt? Cuz i know that rapid bows deal more damage, but since the mons are so aggressive and want your butt its better for me to play spread. But i kinda wanna use rapid again. Does it work well with dodgebolt as well?
Yeah any type work well with dodgebolt, but after that it depends on the matchup. I tend to use rapid by default though
