Apogee microCache with Infrared Radiometer Quickstart Guide

Quick start guide showing how to set up and use Apogee Instrument's AT-100 µCache (microCache) device with an Apogee Infrared Radiometer. The µCache Bluetooth device connects to Android and iOS devices via the ApogeeConnect app and shows real-time temperature readings, graphed readings over time, and allows downloading of datasets to your computer.

Bruce and company have covered so many good topics regarding plants photosynthesis, respiration, photons and the chemistry involved, but I would love to hear some insights into trees. Especially overwinter survival needs. Most trees I lose simply don't come back in the Spring (or early Summer). Trees obviously have a process whereby they drop all their leaves and go dormant for months and I wish to learn more about this tree hibernation process. How does it work and how do we ensure they survive it and return the following spring besides just keeping the roots warm enough to not freeze?
