You referred to yourself as an old fella, 15 yrs ago a group of us in our mid 50's went to wish an old biker happy birthday on his 100th birthday. While telling tales and showing old photos, he referred to us as "you young fellas". I thought, you're right, so I have tried to remember that ever since. Stay young, stay safe Nick.
Age always subject.. when I was like 15 I thought this 28yr old was such an adult.. now I'm 41 and still don't feel like an adult. But to some friends that r in their 20s.. I'm like a dad.. go to me for advice haha..
Got one of these ordered as soon as I heard it came out. The screw mount is convenient. Another good option for a cheap and light camera! Seems really clear.
Looks good, I'm on my last runcam nano 3. But in alot of my micros I still use and really enjoy the image of the runcam nano 2. Its just a great performing super reliable little camera, its stood strong for along time now in the micro world.
Don’t really want to have to adjust. Ant lite is a bit too sharp for my taste but double the weight and that image means I’ll keep getting out my little Runcam controller to adjust the Ant lite. Thanks Nick!
Looks good! Nano2 and Nano3 were both very nice! Hard to compete with the Caddx Ant Nano at the weight and price its at, but competition is great and so is choice! Thanks Nick! 😎🤘
Interesting. I got the caddx ant normal version just about two weeks ago and running it with the us65/crux3 canopy. I like the screw mounting, the camera settings adjustment, higher tvl, lighter weight and cheaper price compared to runcam 4. Was hoping the new runcam would be competing more.
Gday Nick, this camera would be great for whoops and micros, great job with the review (old guy) lol, come on mate we are not that old yet, you missed your chance for the red under truck inspection again, bugger!!! 🤣 awsome work mate.👍🛸
great camera 👍🏻 I have a question nick.. you are one of few American and English talking I can understand their accent without needing to slow down or replay the video.. so what your accent is it north or south American people.. really you make the English very easy to understand 👌
@@antonioalemar5406 yea, I would, its really hard to beat the weight of the runcam nano 3, I think its like 1.3 grams. I am not aware of a camera that is lower weight.
Thanks for the review Nick! I recently got into fpv micro cars and I'm looking for a nano camera with little to no distortion in the corners (fish eye) and side mount screws. Any recommendations? I have the runcam nano 2 right now and it is very fishy lol. Looks like the road curls up in the corners. Distortion makes a big difference when your focus is like a foot in front of you.
hmm. that is pretty tough when it comes to the small light fpv cameras. I would look at the caddx ant lite and if that isn't good, I would step up to the caddx baby ratel 2, or the foxeer toothless nano. Hopefully one of those has less fish eye.
@@NickBurnsFPV Thanks! I've since found that camera angle makes a big difference.. I had an up-tilt going so I could see my surroundings but it made the road right in front of me distorted. When I Centered on the horizon even the nano 2 is ok.

That's the spirit. 😊
BTW, 42 here. 😬

Yes, very true, I since I might be an older guy in FPV, not nearly as sensitive to many aspects of FPV as others might be.

RUclips is back!

Hey, thanks for making these videos. Every little bit counts when it comes to analog!
i just ordered two Caddx Ants from BG, curious to see a comparison.
Gal kremer has comparisons

You just gave me an idea: an FPV quad leafblower... tedious yard work now effortlessly controlled from your easy chair.... could sell millions :)
lol, make the mess someone else's problem.

For a minute, I forgot that you were carrying the camera inside rather than flying with it. I thought, d**n, Nick sure hovers solid!:)

If I use 2s 260mah battery is that gonna fry the camera?
Great flying and review, Nick!!! 😃
Looks pretty similar to the Caddx EOS2... Or am I mistaken? 🤔
Anyway, stay safe there with your family! 🖖😊
I didn't notice an orange hue I typically see with EOS2, but otherwise it might be, been awhile since I have flown the EOS2

Nick, I currently run the Runcam Nano 3 on my racer whoops. In your opinion, is it worth switching? What canopy would you recommend to install these?
for racing I don't think it would be a good choice. I presume racing means competing, weight is such a big factor in whoop racing.
@@NickBurnsFPV Thank you for the fast reply! You presume correctly. Sounds like I will be sticking with my current Runcam 3 setup. Thanks!!

The non-Lite version of the Ant is the most comparable to the Nano 4.
Does it work with the betafpv Cetus X?
It won't natively mount like the stock camera. But we can DIY a mount we just need to be mindful not to add to much weight.

@@scottTNT Ah okay. I will keep that in mind when I get more questions like this one. I hadn't thought about the impact of the angle.
Man the lens flare/halo blowout is kind of extreme.
I like ur house too
Looks small
it is pretty small, and feel tiny in the hand.
It's cool for the micro's...
Not too impressed with this one........
Doesn't seem to be quite worth the price...nice to know what's going on in the FPV world though!
32nd lol
you counted?
Non adjustable!!👎👎👎👎👎
