One thing I love about wide fov is It makes you feel super small and your environment feel super big, the first tinywhoop I ever built used some super cheap camera that I don't remember but it had almost a 180 degree fov and it was so much fun, I've never been able to recreate that experience so might have to give that fat pinch a try.
Yep, there needs to be more cameras with 120 to CHOPPERGIRL 150 FOV The more you can see, the better. Barnwell with his small FOV 4:3 view don't know SHT. I don't know why lenses aren't standard, interchanable, and swapable by now, the industry royally needs to get its SHT together and standarize on connectors, interfaces, and protocols.
You can tell the difference in the resolution, but the wider field of view comes in handy. Although the brain has to catch up to having the ducts in the frame maybe you need a crosshair to left of center. the Fat pinch feed makes you feel like you are flying faster. Very Crisp like a snowblower. Teehee.
Grew up watching skate videos with the same field of view as the phat pinch. Looking forward to flying with that view and feeling like I'm skating again. Jesse P is a very creative man doing really great things for our hobby. Next order I make I swear I will click this link and I will eat one.
Nice review! Like the way the fat pinch looks at the FOV, personally I can try it like that feeling. I actually love the foxer pico, got it in one of my whoops and the image quality is insane no only during the day, at night this camera rock a lot. Never try any of the pinch but they look kind of interesting I can try it with that giveaway lol ..😂 happy flying
I think that the wide pinch would be amazing for some trippy indoor freestyle videos, definitely would love to pick up either of the pinch cams and give those a go
Of those three cameras, I’ve only personally used the regular pinch. But in the comparison shots you did, I gotta say my favorite is the pico razer. Especially for freestyle flying. In the outdoor shots when you pan to the right, the normal pinch cam has a noticeable fisheye distortion whereas and pico looks very natural and a nice lens flare. Pico razer ftw
I would love to try the fat pinch so I can feel like I am flying in 360 but the regular pinch would be my preferred daily whooper so it isn't a huge change when I switch to other quads. Any would be a great upgrade from my current runcam nano 3's 👍
you the man heads!! & my personal favorite is the pico razer! just the clearest and cleanest camera ive found so far! id love to give the pinch a try tho!!! Good luck everyone!!!!!
Hey Heads just got my first Pico, added the conector soldering the wires. How do you solder the new connector to it?? Do you just peel the glue and desolder the wires on it?? I wasn’t brave enough to do it that way.
I use a small amount of heat from my hot air station to loosen up the glue, and tweezers to remove it. Then I'll desolder the old wires and solder the new ones on. You can also snip like half way down the wires and just solder the other connector on the end. I've never done it that way, but I'm sure it'd work fine, just make sure all the wires are isolated from each other
I would probably pick the Pinch cam...but I'm curious what that pico sensor would look like with the normal pinch cam lens instead of the fat pinch lens. Would it be a nice middle ground?
Haha love these videos dude keep it up!!! 🔥🔥🔥 Honestly I love the regular Pinch. The colors and contrast were on par if not better than what I like flying with. Have not yet had a chance to Fly it IRL but they look great in all the RUclips videos I see. Reminds me of the AIO/Cams I use to run with back in the day and the FOV was better than some of the cameras that I run now.
Cool stuff. I want to try the fat pinch. I normally fly the ant, but after breaking 3 in iGOW due to the same cap on the back of the board, I have been looking elsewhere.
I haven't had the chance to try either of the cameras compared here but from comparing the NBD bee eye to the caddx ant I can say the a higher number of TVL isn't necessarily better for me and that I'm generally more worried about the lens and weight. Although I'm biased due to the nostalgia that comes with the evolution of the original pinch, I'm still gonna have to say that would be the one I'd go for if shipping and taxes wasn't so expensive to Europe! As always great video and truly appreciate you guys consistently sharing much needed tinywhoop freestyle vibes here. 😎
Personally the fat pinch looked the best too me but I couldn’t tell you why. Also I don’t think I would have much trouble adjusting to the lens distortion.
@@InfinityLoops The less vertical fov of the 16:9 doesn't bother you at all? But I assume it fits the HDZero goggles native 16:9 display nicely, no cropping the picture
I’ve been testing that fat pinch and I think it would be good for freestyle. It makes things somewhat different for racing but I think you could get used to it. Maybe I’ll win the standard pinch to try that out.
Id have to say the fov is a bit too much for me on the fat pinch, but the extra tv lines do make such a difference, so of these three cameras the pico's the best looking to me. Its hard to say until you fly it though... Its just too bad about the connector plug on the pico!
I like the phat pinch but I think it would take quite a while to get used to. I'm typically not a huge fan of the lenses with all that bendy distortion to the image, but it sure would be nice to have a big FOV. So, for now, I'd say I like the regular pinch, but would be interested in trying the phat pinch to get an idea about how that FOV would help in flying. 🤔👍
the pinch looks like higher tvl to me even though its a lower count maybe its not so magnified by the lens🤔i was realy surprised by a friends vid with the pinch from a local race recently realy want to try one. will probably be ordering one soon plus need to shave some grams
Pic quality looks great! Little too much fov for me. But I’ve never tried it so I guess I can’t say that. I’d do the og pinch as it’s more what I am used to.
I’d love a free pinch! I fly the mess out of mine! Honestly I want to try the pico and the fat pinch now. The fat pinch for that fast flying feel you were talking about; and the pico on my night cruiser
I like the lens of the fat pinch but if I had to go with one it would be the regular pinch when it comes to tiny whoops because weight is everything to me!
I really like the fat pich and all but over all out of the 3 the PICO Is great quality and I would have to say as a content creator myself that the best image quality wins ....although I really like the Pinch quality as well ....I would be greatfull for anything better than this caddx eos v2 I am having to fly on my phantom 2.5in build lol...Look forward to hanging out with you again soon brother ...its always a very great time indeed...
who doesn't like a fat pinch? while I've never gone that wide, it's clearly going to be my favorite (based on zero evidence or experience) because more is better, and better is more? Right? pico sensor ftw :D
I'm a big fan of the pico razor. I'm a big fan of foxeer cameras in general. I only have 1 caddix and 2 runcam cameras. The rest are all foxeer cuz they are better imo.
Ahh I think I like the fat just cause the more you can see the cooler it looks. But tell me the weight diff. If the Pico is lighter than the fat it probably go for it. If I get a free pinch though they might be both out luck lol

phat pinch because who doesn't like a double wide surprise
Just got my first Pico, very impressed. I would love to try out a regular pinch 😁
Awesome flying dude!!! I really like the original pico that fat pinch is going to fast for me 😁
Funny how you put this video put when I was literally just looking at these cameras last night😅 I was thinking about getting the fat pinch!

The pico looks the best to me but haven't had a chance to get one myself. Thanks for the video!

I like the pico. Seemed to have to most clarity and I'm not sure how I feel about the warped edges of the other 2, but I'm willing to give it a try.
I like a fat pinch, gimme all the view. It's helpful to be able to see all your props in view after a bad crash!
The wider the better so I prefer the fat pinch. I love the fisheye look!!
You know me that middle boy with that tasty lens flare!...
Just got the notification for this video 😀
Already watched, youtube just wanted me to watch again I suppose!
I would love to try the fat pinch so I can feel like I am flying in 360 but the regular pinch would be my preferred daily whooper so it isn't a huge change when I switch to other quads.

Guess I’m gone try the pinch, my favorite is the regular pinch great picture quality and it’s lightweight.
great video, stay safe
Hope you were looking forward to trying the Pinch because...
YOU WON!!!
Hit me up when you see this! Congrats man!

The standard pinch is my favorite because I'm a 65mm racer and I gotta drop those grams. That said, I'm using the Pico Razer on my 75mm spec racers.
Love the extra Sence of speed you get from wide angle 4:3.
I would probably pick the Pinch cam...but I'm curious what that pico sensor would look like with the normal pinch cam lens instead of the fat pinch lens. Would it be a nice middle ground?
The Fat Pinch lens is the regular pinch lens from what I've been told by Jesse.
@@InfinityLoops ohhhhh I see, it's all in the sensor huh, not the lens. Thx for the reply!
I can't get over the ducts in view on the Fat Pinch. Looks like I'm manning in a gun turret. 😆
Out of those 3 I would like to try the fat pinch, seem like it would be a trip! Pico razer is one of my favorites

do you think quicksilver is suited to run on larger whoops as well? something like a RaceWhoop. does it support dji fpv osd?
It can be put on anything. For dji it's on a uart and you can turn it on so you should be just fine ;)
I think so, I've heard people using it all the way up to a 5" quad.
Not sure about the dji support though.
I like the Fat Pinch for that increased speed feel!!!
Nice music sync on the wall tap!
I like the regular old petite pinch over the pawg pinch. But I think it's just a matter of preference, they both look pretty purdy.
Cool stuff. I want to try the fat pinch. I normally fly the ant, but after breaking 3 in iGOW due to the same cap on the back of the board, I have been looking elsewhere.

I like the fat pinch, It has great picture quality. Even in low light looks good.
The pico seems still the solid option. Is your pico in PAL or NTSC?
This one is NTSC. But I usually get whatever they have available. Also using 16:9 setting in the Skyzones.
@@InfinityLoops The less vertical fov of the 16:9 doesn't bother you at all? But I assume it fits the HDZero goggles native 16:9 display nicely, no cropping the picture
I use it with the Skyzone04x which you can force into 16:9. I don't notice the crop if there is one. Still waiting on my analog adapter for the HDZ :(
I liked the regular camera without the super wide field of view. Now Jessi make one for my mobthick hdzero build.
I’ve been testing that fat pinch and I think it would be good for freestyle. It makes things somewhat different for racing but I think you could get used to it. Maybe I’ll win the standard pinch to try that out.
I like the ultra wide fat pinch because it looks more insane lol
Look interesting, will try it.
still using the skyzones? not into the hd zero goggles?
Love the HDZ goggles! Still waiting on my analog adapter tho :(
Phap rips!! great vid!
The OG pinch is awesome, but I am in to try the fat pinch on my 85mm so it's the fat pinch on a two inch
Id have to say the fov is a bit too much for me on the fat pinch, but the extra tv lines do make such a difference, so of these three cameras the pico's the best looking to me. Its hard to say until you fly it though... Its just too bad about the connector plug on the pico!
Fat pinch sounds fun as far as mobility
May give the Phat Pinch a try🧐, for now going to stick with the regular Pinch😉

It seemed the original pinch had the sharpest picture I think that would be my choice to use.
Torn between the fat pinch and the Pico! I need to fly the fat pinch, I always wished the FOV on the Pico was slightly bigger..
The phat pinch and Pico picture quality is real clean but I do prefer the FOV of the regular pinch.
Overall, I like the pico picture. I have a pinch on a whoop and like it also with the pinch mount, which is tough. The fat pinch is too wide for me.
I like the Fat Pinch because of that wide fov
I like the picture and the fov of the pico. I think the ultrawide fov that fat pinch may be a bit much.
Og pinch lightweight and durable
I like the lens of the fat pinch but if I had to go with one it would be the regular pinch when it comes to tiny whoops because weight is everything to me!
🦙🧪🦨🔥 the pinch
Its def was some getting used to flying ant cams to the pico. But the fat pinch is def looking sexier than robot lady. Not a bad deal!
Sexier than robot lady!?!? Blasphemy!!
@@jondoe6618 I know I know I'm out of line!! 🤣 She is a national treasure in my book!

pico sensor ftw :D
I'm a big fan of the pico razor. I'm a big fan of foxeer cameras in general. I only have 1 caddix and 2 runcam cameras. The rest are all foxeer cuz they are better imo.
Fat pinch looks way more fish eye to me, almost disorienting fish eye. I love my normal pinch cams
Of the three I like the fat pinch.
That's quite a pinch
Been watching you for a lil over a year now would love to see what you would do with a 6in at a bando man...
Prefer the full frame of the regular pinch
Ahh I think I like the fat just cause the more you can see the cooler it looks. But tell me the weight diff. If the Pico is lighter than the fat it probably go for it. If I get a free pinch though they might be both out luck lol
The Pico weighs 1.65g and the Fat Pinch weighs 1.9
I like the phat pinch the best it had the best picture imo and it’s not that heavy
i have the phat pinch, love it, in the goggles, the viginate is not noticeable, i have not tried the pico, or the regular pinch yet.
